A Scented Garden B & B

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Character, cleanliness, great breakfast and great hosts!
Location: Steps away from a stroll or a swim at the public beach. A short walk to amphitheatre and daily performances. Check out the many murals in the town.
What a lovely place to stay. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent with home cooking and other foods to choose from. Add all this to a location that is steps away to the public beach and boat launch!

Wonderfull breakfast

Posted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were really amazed by the quality of the Service and the comfort. For Breakfast we had wonderfull coffee, very tasy scrambled eggs and there was a good continental breakfast to help yourself to. We also liked the familiarity of the atmosphere during breakfast.

Comfortable B&B in a pretty town

Posted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: Location, breakfast, lavender soap, conversation with owners.
Location: Chemainus is right on the water and also has a series of murals showing life in the town through the years. Really interesting.
We arrived on an icy winter afternoon but were welcomed by our hosts and shown into a warm and comfortable room. All we needed was available including a lookout tower to see the views. The breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed our visit.

Staying in Chemainus

Posted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: The friendliness of the owners, the location and the comfort of the room.
Cons: Better coffee
Location: Chemainus is pretty much a one street affair. It has lovely shops and great atmosphere. It is perfect for a stroll.
We arrived on our motorbike and where immediately greeted by Michaela and Rick. Our room was one floor up in front of the dinning room. The room was comfortable and clean with an on suite bathroom. The location is close to the main street and the neighbourhood is quiet. We enjoyed a picnic on the front lawn enjoying the beautiful garden. The breakfast was served at 9 sharp which consistent of scrambled eggs, toast, muffins, fruits, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea and juice.

A great B&B

Posted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly owners, a great property and a tasty breakfast! One point off on cleanliness due to a small stain on one of the pillows on our bed and a grimy TV remote control. Rest of the room was very clean and comfortable though! I would stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing

Posted Jul 30, 2013
Location: Close to Nanaimo and lots of little waterfront towns in the Cowichan area. Lovely drives in the country, if you stay off Hwy 1.
This place really lived up to its name. The garden is lovely, and in the evening it smelled wonderful! It was pretty hot while we were there, but our room had a fan and good cross-ventilation. Breakfasts were simple fare, with fresh homemade breads everyday. Michaela and Rick were excellent hosts. This was the best part of our trip - so glad we stayed 3 nights!!
