“Worth the trip”

Our originial planned visit fell through, but still had the hotel, so we decided to stay anyway. I have been a few places before and I can say that the Days Inn Dunkirk was one of the friendliest. The continential breakfasr was the best set up, although could use more choice, it was however fresh and free. The staff was friendly, hotel clean and the pool was a delight after our long day of walking. There were plently of shopping around, although I am not a big shopper. The Falls were about 1 hour away, easy drive on the interstate.

“Outside of building needs work but GREAT OVERALL STAY EXPERIENCE!”

Our group had 4 rooms. We traveled from Rochester and Syracuse, N.Y. areas plus Spring Lake, N.C. Days Inn Dunkirk-Fredonia was the perfect place to stay. We had children and adults from ages 1yr. to 60yrs. old. The rooms were not fancy but they were very clean. The staff was wonderful. We asked for a small refrigerator in one room to keep leftovers cold and they were more than happy to supply this and brought it right up to the room. Theresa, the manager, was very welcoming and made sure all our needs were met with a big smile. We ended up needing the use of one of their meeting rooms for my mom's 80th. birthday party. Theresa arranged for this so that our entire group of 34 people in town, from all over the U.S., could celebrate this event. (This was all asked for last minute). The location was perfect. Very close to the Thru-way. Very easy to exit and get back on the Thru-way. The beds were more than comfortable and clean. We asked for non-smoking rooms and got them. The rooms smelled clean and fresh. Towels were fine and enough for everyone. They have a great help-yourself style breakfast, (included in the price of the room), in the a.m. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. The price per room was the most inexpensive in the area. Great experience overall. Very pleased!

“lounge”

hotel was good in all areas but the lounge amd restaraunt needs to be open more than three days a week. it is a big attraction to the hotel but useless if it isn't open on all days.

“Great Hotel”

This motel building has been around for a long time (I remember it from the 1960's), but the current owners have done a marvelous job of updating it. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant. I would make a point to stay there again. Very reasonably priced.

“our stay in Fredonia, NY”

We basically needed a place to sleep for the night. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The employees were very pleasant. Breakfast has a lot of carbs that we are not used to eating but it was OK thanks

“Will go back if I need to”

Last time I stayed here there was no Bible in the dresser drawer (I thought all hotels had Bibles in dresser drawers)so I asked for one at the front desk and received one. This time I said ahead of time to the guy at the front desk that I didn't think there was going to be one in the dresser drawer and he said no, he thought there was one. I said ok. When I got in the room, sure enough no Bible in the dresser drawer & by then I was too tired to go get one.

“Great Stay”

I was at the Days Inn in Dunkirk (Fredonia). The hotel was pretty decent. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Nice Continential Breakfast in the morning to get your day started right. The hotel is extremely economical which worked out great for me. Lots of nearby shopping available. Overall, I was pleased and plan to stay there again if ever in the area again.

“Fredonia Days Inn”

People working in the breakfast room were wonderful. Maid service left something to be desired--not a thorough job and some days not enough towels left for the three of us. The bathroom sink didn't drain well, we had to get help one day to get our key to work in the lock. There was another problem. We did report all the problems to the desk and they did respond. Perhaps the most disagreeable was the stale smoke/dirty smell in the hallways.

“Very Nice and Family friendly”

The hotel is outdated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hallways need better ventilation (warm stuffy). The rooms had good climate control. The staff were freindly and helpful. The pool area was clean. I loved the spa while my kids enjoyed the pool. I have stayed in other hotels in this area. I believe this was the best value. (Mid priced)
