overall i would stay there again. we lost cable for 24 hours and with 3 kids that was very difficult. The staff was not as understanding and did not seem to care. there is no free coffee during the day (its 5$ a cup). the breakfast is great, the omelette team is stellar! the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. the restaurant, the tap room is pretty good.

We loved the location. The property was clean and the breakfast was great. Issues with the tv controller in one room and a sink in the other room. We did get $25 vouchers to use toward dinner at their restaurant which is part of booking . The restaurant was fine nothing to write home about. We did order out with DoorDash for the kids (local pizza place and sandwich shop). I was a bit frustrating to learn about additional fees and the amount of those fees were bit expensive at check in. Some of those fees were disclosed at time of booking on the Expedia website others were not. Overall it was fine. Good location- we ubered to the White House and walked from there to other attractions. Generally I wish there was better communication from the front desk staff - maybe they could be a bit friendlier( but not disrespectful at any point). I would recommend staying here we kids- I also recommend calling in advance and asking about all the additional fees and parking information.

Nice hotel, great size room for family of 4. The front desk receptionist when we checked in late at night was quite rude and didn't make eye contact. She didn't even say "Welcome". The other receptionists were very nice and welcoming. The front entrance outside the hotel has a really pungent garbage smell...made coming and going a bit uninviting.

The spacious central common space/bar/breakfast/area was very impressive. It was large, with 6 floors of open space above to a windowed roof. Great place to meet family for breakfast or to grab a drink/meal in the evening.

Excellent staff, Parking was great because it was a weekend. Our doorman Kevin certainly has been in the business for a long time. He treated my family exceptionally well. Thank you to the whole staff we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was clean most of the staff was very friendly and helpful however parking is $55 a day you have to pay a $200 deposit a $50 a day resort fee and my card was charged 3 times for the room when I asked the hotel staff why all they would say is we only charged your card once for a completely different amount than the 3 transactions on my bank statement

Very clean. Many selections of breakfast. Friendly staffs. Pool is maintained well. All is good. The only thing I would like to warn is the location. This place would be not suitable for the families with little children who are planning to commute via public transportation like buses and subways because you need to walk about 14 minutes to the subway station. However, if you have your own car or planning to commute via taxi, no problem.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It’s typically my go to when I stay in DC. This time however, I wasn’t super happy with the visit. my first morning my shower was freezing after showering I went downstairs and told the front desk if someone can come look at it. I was told because it was cold outside to let the water warm up for 20 minutes before getting in. I had also ran out of towels and toilet paper as I had my daughter and her friends with me. I called down to the front desk and after an hour and a half half no one had brought any yet. I end up going to the pool and grabbing some towels. The next morning I did as they said and let the shower warm up for 20 minutes.. water was still freezing.. my room wasn’t as clean as it normally is. The pullout couch blankets were dirty, and I had to ask for new ones. The bedroom carpet was dirty and had stains. Makes me sad that cause I love this hotel. But I was a little disappointed this visit.

Property is beautiful. Garage is hard to maneuver. Suite is smaller than expected. Paid 44 dollars to park in a small cramped garage. Safe area to be. Lots of people with shopping bags
