“Best Staff Any Where!”

This hotel has the greatest management and staff of any place I've ever stayed! I was treated more like family than a guest. It was convenient to town, restaurants and shopping, not within walking distance but very convenient to the places I needed. Rates were good and it was clean. The breakfast bar is very good. The only thing I noticed was the linens (towels, blankets, etc.) could be replaced with new ones, they were a little tattered but clean. If I ever go back to Durango I will definitely stay there again!

Employees were courteous and friendly. Nice extra touches in the room when we arrived. They even had a nice and healthy breakfast available in the morning. Wonderful BBQ restaurant across the main street from the hotel.

“Excellent choice”

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is on the outskirts of Durango so it was very quiet. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Everything was squeaky clean and the room was very comfortable. The only difficulty was road constructon right along in front of the hotel, had to watch where to enter to get to the frontage road, but that will be resolved whenever the roadwork is done; no reflection on th hotel itself. Would definitely stay there again; great price.

“Good Value in Durango”

I hadn't stayed at a Super8 before and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed at this property. People were friendly, room was enormous and very clean, and the location was very convenient to everything in Durango - downtown just a short drive. Because it's tough to find a decent value hotel in Durango, I can recommend the Super8. Not luxurious, although nothing at all shabby about this place.

We stayed five nights and were completely satisfied. The staff was more than helpful when we needed something. Our room was spacious and clean and was well equipped with a microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. We enjoyed the Wifi that enabled us to send pics home during our vacation. We would definitely stay there again.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It was convenient to downtown Durango, quiet, and the room was very spacious. There was a microwave and a refrigerator and the staff included a bag of microwave popcorn and a package of cookies.

“I'll stay again, but only in the winter...”

I was put in a room on the west side of the hotel. About 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon, the air conditioning unit stopped cooling - was told by the front desk that it was due to the afternoon sun (??). I had seen previous complaints, and the subsequent postings by the owner assuring its fix, and figured the problem was resolved. It wasn't. It was never horrible, but by the same token, it was not comfortable until well after sundown. I'd likely stay again, but not during the summer. Note to owners: Perhaps miniature awnings would solve the problem. Hotel is not on free bus line to downtown (if that's important), but is only 5 minutes away by car.
