We arrived just after spring break. Staff was recovering but still made the visit enjoyable.

Nothing to really share just that it was a hotel for a family member to stay at.

The Knights Inn from a poor person's perpectivePosted Jan 17, 2015 on Hotels.com
The warmth was nice, The breakfast was ok, Wish I had some orange juice or apple juice but they have great tea's which you won't see in other kinds of hotels. They carried the usual waffle maker and if you wanted coffee then you could get it there which seemed to be all day for free. If you didn't want waffles then you could get oatmeal or some mini muffins. As for the room it's self. It was small the furniture in our room was close together but we liked it, this place is the kind of place if your not into all the "extra luxury" things you would like it there. It's out of the way from the drama of downtown, Durango. The wi-fi works well for the most part and though I was there with my lover during bad weather I remember distinctly the smell of Weed in the air walking towards the rooms but this is Colorado after all, some places have a perma weed smell like in Denver, CO for instance. Finnaly the hotel people are really kind and the manager/owner Amy has some children of her own so she knows what's important to keep a safe environment. All in all I will most likely return here the next time we get a little bit of funds in. :)

Friendly staff try to make up for sub par lodging.Posted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels.com
The good: The staff was very friendly. The waffle maker and breakfast snacks were a nice touch for a small motel. Free Wi-Fi. The bad: The mattress wasn't really clean and the bedding was below par. Too few towels and pillows. The extra pet fee was not refundable. The carpet was stained and a random rag was on the floor near the bedroom. I would only stay here again if I really needed to. For $60 a night I expected a little nicer. That said, it wasn't gross or unsafe.

YIKES!Posted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Never again! I would not choose this hotel at all! The Orange Juice in the morning was expired, they only had tiny muffins. The Rooms were outdated and cold ( especially the bathrooms. Our rooms was tiny and the floor was disgusting! The only good part is that the beds were really comfy!

Fantastic value, clean, nice staffPosted Dec 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is one of the better $40 hotels Ive stayed in. The woman at the desk was so friendly! She even helped me with road conditions in the morning when it started to snow and I told her which was I was going to be driving. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, its a budget hotel, but it was clean, quiet, and friendly!
