“Unexpected Nice Place to Stay!”

We would stay here, again. Had everything we needed, including a restaurant recommendation (Steam Works) that was excellent!

“A bargain!”

Previous reviewers made this hotel sound scary. I think they've made a big effort to bring up the quality. My room was very clean and comfortable. It is true that parking is limited to one space per room. And the "continental breakfast" is coffee and a muffin or apple. But overall this hotel is a great bargain!

“price was right”

overall it was okay the price was good location was good as well. Needed some upkeep in the room such as caulking and replace old ripped chair but the room was clean.

“Great deal!”

The room was very clean. The walls were painted, with no chips, the bath tub was sealed and clean. Despite being located near a main street, we were able to sleep soundly without much noise. This was a great deal for a place to sleep for a couple nights!!!

“Was great all in all, service was awesome..”

The only think that I was unsatisfied was with the uncomfortable bed, was to hard. Bad backache..

“A good place to stay”

The bed was clean and comfortable, the carpet clean and in good shape, the room, bath and shower were clean, the water was hot and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I had all I need in a motel for less money than most.

“Knight's Inn was OK.”

The room was clean, the beds, were comfortable. Our room was directly next to the street which made it noisy. There were no cups in the room? Which to me was odd, for a person who gets up nightly for a sip of water, or for brushing your teeth in the a.m. Parking was limited and checking in late made finding parking a bit difficult.

“Durango Train Ride”

Super nice Hotel Clerk. Easy to find and get to. Hotel is showing it age. Bathroom floor under the toilet was going down hill. Bathroom floor linoleum showing it age many stains. But lots of hot water for a bath. Little noisy from road traffic since it was right on the main road leading into town but did quiet out after 1 a.m. Has wireless internet access. It worked from my room but other rooms may have trouble getting signal. But I did sleep fine. They had the A/C unit on and I had to kick on the heat got chilled out so A/C works super well. Overall a great place to get sleep and have a base but no thrills. Little pricey on there soda pop. $.75 a can $.60 would been plenty but I wasn't sure if they owned the machine or other vendor. But most things are little overpriced since it is a tourist town. Over all great trip. Can't wait to go back.

“upgrading in progress”

This was an older roadside motel that is in dire need of renovating and upgrading which they are in the process of doing. Cracked concrete sidewalks and parking lot. Rooms were clean, very dated furniture, window coverings and bedspread, the overhead light was out, Floor in bathroom was uneven and creaked when walking on it, mold where the shower surround and the tub meet, very spartan "continental breakfast". No place within a 3 block radius to eat, however the trolley will take you downtown and runs until 10pm. This Inn was recently bought by the Wyndham corp and some outside renovation is in progress. The staff was very polite and helpful. Would I ever stay here again? I'll check back in a year ot two after renovations are complete!
