“A bargain!”

Previous reviewers made this hotel sound scary. I think they've made a big effort to bring up the quality. My room was very clean and comfortable. It is true that parking is limited to one space per room. And the "continental breakfast" is coffee and a muffin or apple. But overall this hotel is a great bargain!

“Great place for budget-minded travelers”

For the price, the motel was better than expected. The room and linens smelled clean and fresh; the king bed was comfortable; there were lots of freebies/samples of toiletries; and the staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We appreciated the "quiet after 10 pm" policy. The continental breakfast was very simple, but having a fridge and microwave in the room made it possible to supplement with more meal options. There's a small park right behind the hotel, and the high school is across the street. The free trolley bus stops just down the street so you can go downtown and not worry about paying a meter during the day. We'd stay at the midtown Knights Inn again.

We would stay here, again. Had everything we needed, including a restaurant recommendation (Steam Works) that was excellent!

Hannah and her husband Robert are outstanding hosts and accomodated our family quickly and efficiently. We enjoy staying with them because they are friendly and competent. Next time we are in Durango we will stay with them!

“A good place to stay”

The bed was clean and comfortable, the carpet clean and in good shape, the room, bath and shower were clean, the water was hot and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I had all I need in a motel for less money than most.

“Affordable place to stay”

For the money, this is a clean place to stay. It is an older property, so don't expect brand new - but - it served my purpose well. I only had 2 complaints. First is that the parking lot is TINY! I felt lucky each night to find a spot. Second, the upholstered chair in our room was stained/spotted. I wish it had been a vinyl or plastic chair and then I would have felt much more comfortable sitting in it - which I didn't because of that.

“Great deal!”

The room was very clean. The walls were painted, with no chips, the bath tub was sealed and clean. Despite being located near a main street, we were able to sleep soundly without much noise. This was a great deal for a place to sleep for a couple nights!!!

overall it was okay the price was good location was good as well. Needed some upkeep in the room such as caulking and replace old ripped chair but the room was clean.
