The Rochester Hotel is situated on a beautifully landscaped site, featuring a flower-filled courtyard. Rooms are decorated in Old West motif inspired by Western movies filmed in the Durango area. Rooms feature kitchens or kitchenettes and private bathrooms six of the rooms are three-room suites with gas fireplaces. Each room is themed after an historic figure associated with the Leland House. The hallways are lined with historic photos of Durango, telling the story of Durango's Wild West.
