Very nice hotel

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Large size room. Tempurpedic king size bed was awesome! Has nice looking outside pool but we didn't use.
Cons: Breakfast was ok. They offered waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, little muffins.
Location: It is located on the north end of town right off of 550. Easy to access and find. The train station is also off of 550.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any age.

Good choice

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: proximity to historic durango.
Cons: the free breakfast should be changed everyday. We were served the exact same thing everyday; same cereal, hot waffles, instant oatmeal.
Location: Train station with river ride, plenty of restaurants.
Quick drive into historic Durango. Loved the sink and long bathroom counter separate from shower and sink area. Rooms were comfortable. For the money it was a good choice.

Older hotel cashing in

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: Complete remodel
Location: quiet
good location but older facility. Sheets grey with use towels small and harsh. Air conditioning on or off little temp control. Durango is full and hotel is taking advantage . Can't blame them supply and demand. But for the price not a good or even fair deal.

Price is right. That's the best I can say

Posted Jun 22, 2014
A tired, older two-star hotel on the main drag, with updated rooms. There's nothing much more to say. The price was reasonable on a weekend when hotel rates were high due to a number of events going on in the area. The rooms were in way better condition than the hallways, grounds etc. There were three of us staying there, and all found the beds extremely comfortable. Recommended if you want to save money.

Extended stay in Durango

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Large room, comfortable bed, and the price.
Cons: Housekeeping.
Location: Not far from main attractions in Durango. Easy to find historic downtown and train station.
Was a bit disappointed in the hotel. Room was large, but cleanliness was questionable. In fact room was not cleaned at all first day. Carpet looked like it needed cleaning. One lamp did not work (but it was eventually repaired) and the hair dryer had to be replaced while I was there and was done quickly after I reported it. The lounge chairs at the pool were not very comfortable. Located right on very busy Main Street so not very peaceful. Did not eat the continental breakfast so cannot comment on it.

vacation in beautiful Durango

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: comfortable beds
Cons: breakfast needs to be real food, not junk
Location: rafting, hiking, train ride etc
Strange stain on the carpet in our room. Free breakfast was a joke. Went out for real food everyday we stayed there.

Nice hotel very close to downtown Durango,Colorado

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Bascially everything they had to offer.
Location: Durango Silverton Train Ride, Bar D Chuck Wagon dinner, Fish Hatchery, Mesa Verde Cliff dwellings, great restaurants everywhere you turned.
Great Room, everything worked, one day no soap, one day no bag for the ice bucket, cleaned very well daily. The temperpedic bed was great, will probably by a temperpedic now. Air Conditioner worked great, TV worked great. Staff was great, pleasant, helpful. Continental Breakfast was standard, nothing special, only got coffee each morning. Will stay there again next year.

Good location

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Included breakfast. Good location.
Location: Nearby to downtown Historic Durango with lots of restaurants of all types and many shops. We drove to Silverton in a little over an hour.
Thought it was a good hotel for the price. Good location for travel to other cities in CO. One hour to Silverton for a nice day outing. We had very good service from the night clerk (we checked in very late) and morning clerk we had the first two days was great. The morning clerk the last two days was not very helpful, had to ask for many of the breakfast items to be refilled which she did grudgingly. Overall we were happy with the hotel.
