OK for the very reasonabLe price

Although we booked a twin room, the only one available was the disabled room which was fine except for that the shower and bath were impossible to use for two 6 foot blokes.

A great place to stay

Posted Mar 14, 2015
The Days Inn offered an excellent chance for us to stay close to Durham City. The room was clean and the en suite was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The free parking was great.

Does what it says in the tin!

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Stayed with 2 young children. Staff were extremely helpful allowing us to check in early. Room was spacious enough with double bed, travel cot, sofa and little annexe with two single beds. Room was clean and comfortable. Decor and carpet pretty tired but acceptable standard. No restaurant within the hotel but next door there is a Costa, McDonalds and WH Smith. Quiet nights sleep even though it is very near the motorway. Great value for a family room stay.

Has all the basic needs for a traveller looking for a place to stay. Comfortable, but could do with a refurbishment

Adequate

Hotel was adequate for our needs. Comfy bed. Soft pillows but they didn't offer any support. Shower needed more oomph. Well down on power

Nice hotel close to Durham and A1

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: The location was great, very accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom, I believe, is due to be refurbished.
Location: Very close to the A1 and Durham.
We had avery pleasant overnight stay on our way to Northumberland. We decided to visit Durham on the way up and this hotel was advertised at a great price. It was easily accessible from both the A1 and Durham. It was comfortable and friendly.

Pros: Very clean and spacious.
Cons: The Internet was intermittent. The towel rail didn't work.

Pros: It delivered better than i had hoped for. The duty manager gave helpful advice for a hearty eatery not far off.
Cons: Road side signage was unlit and therefore lost, at least during the hours of darkness, among a pile of other (lit) signs for other businesses.
Slept well. Fairly quiet except for a brief interlude by a trampolinist upstairs.

Cheap hotel

Posted Jan 27, 2015 on Hotels.com
Just what we wanted a cheap but comfortable hotel to break up our long journey although it was in a service station we heard no traffic and couldnt see any either, as we had a cleverly designed hedge in front of our window it had no breakfast facilities but the service station was next door you didn't even have to cross a road

A cold weather stay in Durham

Posted Jan 26, 2015 on Hotels.com
A warm, clean and large room which made my stay very cosy. The weather was cold yet the parking was gritted and there was plenty of it.
