Hotel Ok for a Night passing through.Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Good for 1 Night.
Cons: Bathroom Taps etc could do to be replaced.
Location: Location is next to A1 Motorway in Services Area next to Costa Coffee & Mcdonalds.
Rooms a bit tired. This Hotel gives you the basic Room. We paid a basic Price for this Room which was for one night passing through. Room was clean enough. For what we Paid it was ok. Lady at Reception was very nice.

good hotel for "in transit" stay.Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: The site and the price. Very good.
Cons: Hotel in need of an overhaul as a little tired but that said it was clean and comfortable
Location: Staff recommended an excellent restaurant nearby and Durham town a short distance away
Room was spacious and clean. Had a comfortable, quiet night and had a choice of two fast food outlets nearby for breakfast before continuing our journey. Staff all very helpful and friendly, gave us a good tip for a place to have our evening meal. Would use again if in the area.

Overnight StayPosted May 25, 2015
Pros: The beds were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The room décor and the shower.
Location: Durham is full of things to do, the Cathedral is beautiful and well worth a visit, plenty places to eat. Lovely walks and lovely people.
We were visiting Durham for a day on way back from the South of England. We booked the Days Inn and it was our first time in this company's accomodation. For the money we paid, we thought it was good value. The room we had was in need of redecoration but it was very clean and a good size for two people. The beds were comfortable (twin room) and although the shower was temperamental, it still washed us. I had a really good sleep, and although in the distance you could hear the motorway traffic, it was too far away to be of any bother. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget and cannot afford top of the range. It was fine. Rooms are basic, may need décor updated but to me, for a night or two it was fine. The lady at reception was lovely and approachable.

Overnight stay or working purposesPosted May 9, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, room size, staff.
Cons: Towel rail could work
Location: Durham with all the attractions this wonderful city has to offer, Durham Dales, Derwent Valley, Beamish
Friendly staff, accommodation as it says on the tin. Towel rail didn't work ( second time this has happened). Comfortable bed, Freebiew TV, free wifi which normally works! Free tea & coffee. Easy to get to from Durham & A1M

Basic AccomodationPosted Apr 19, 2015 on Hotels
Good enough base. Lack eating places as it only has McDonald's and Costa. Not any place for breakfast and dinner without driving to a pub which is not an option for a woman on her own.

A good budget stopoverPosted Apr 7, 2015 on Hotels
Perfectly acceptable stopover, with no motorway noise and friendly receptionist. Two small changes would be good: - individual switches for bedside lights (we didn't both want to go to sleep at the same time) - a second chair.
