Nice hotel but room we were in could of done with a freshen up, few cob webs, childs dirty hand prints on wall, hair on 1 of the beds. No complementary bottles of water in room as youd normally get and also little tiles that had come off the bottle of the pool still in the pool..

I'm sorry, all our menus have full drinks prices on them and our tills are itemised so maybe a different wine was served. Its unusual feedback and apologies for the confusion. Our cocktail bar also displays a tariff listing a selection of products and prices as required by Weights & Measures. Apologies

Stayed with partner and our dog. Grounds are still amazing and well kept. Staff friendly. We took our doggie so if you do intend to there are only a few rooms and must be pre-booked at £25/night. Lots of different areas to sit and chill or have a drink, play games, watch TV

The property was nice overall, on arriving the staff, just reeled off directions to the building, there wasnt any ,personal questions, how are you today etc. The room 103 had bathroom door problems,warping at the bottom, the room was also next to the lift,so as u can guess ,there was noise .

Hand a great stay but only little issue was room we stayed in had a walkway outside that they used to ferry the old bottles and glasses from bar so woke up early due to the noise. Other than this excellent place to stay.

Overall enjoyed our stay at redworth hall for my wife's birthday. Room was really nice when we eventually found it .bathroom was exceptional,the bed was nice and big but a little too firm as were the pillows ,we prefer feather pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities good but a bit short on milk ,only 2 little pots.Nice big easy to use TV. It was a bit of a walk to the car parking but plenty spaces The pool was very nice as was the steam room and sauna and the jackoozy was good. Nice towels robes and. slippers. Dinner was very nice but could have been a bit hotter. Restaurant lacked ambience somehow ,maybe a bit of background music would help. Breakfast was very good indeed with a very wide choice of fare. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay but a bit far away at 135 miles ,maybe we will return . Overall very good hotel and facilities.

We stay here every christmas when visiting from London. The staff and facilities are always impeccable and every facet of the hotel is excellent with the exception of the water pressure for the family rooms on the top floor. Already looking forward to next years stay.

Great venue for a quiet retreat
A lovely place to stay, magical scenery and grounds and wonderful ambience. This is the 2nd time we have stayed over new year so well recommended. The food in the restaurant is wonderful the lonely slight issue is the drinks service is not of the same calibre as the food, but that’s easily resolved by ordering early.

Nothing to complain about at all. Property is grandiose and beautiful as are the grounds. The room was as photographed and described very comfortable bed. Good dining facilities and bar.

Hotel was excellent, only issue was that it was too hot, people actual had to keep their doors open, and you were unable to turn heating down

Staff lovely. Standard twin, warm room and satisfactory for a one night stop. Did not use Spa. Dined casually in the lounge, satisfactory. However it was very cold in the lounge. Radiators not working. People sat wearing coats.

A very nice hotel with welcoming staff. Pillows in the bedroom was to hard. I stayed in the spa room and couldn't undo the drain plug as it was broken. Apart from this it was great.

Car park was poorly lit , had an issue with parking , pulled into a spot which was a quagmire , had to be removed by a mini tractor , saying that the maintenance crew and staff did sort it out very quickly

A little maintenance hiccup - but enjoyable
Clean and tidy room but having paid extra for a deluxe spa room we were disappointed to find the shower only operated on 1 of 3 functions and even then it was only on day one. Day two it didn't work at all. Shower seal leaked so mini flood on bathroom floor. Having said that Staff were courteous and friendly, food was of good quality and tasty, the hotel had a good ambience and pool was nice [loungers could have been more adjustable though - was a bit uncomfortable if you really wanted to relax] - Would we stay again? Yes

Enjoyed the hotel’s spa and pool area which was immaculately clean. The restaurant service was good and efficient, but the children in our party had to wait for their meals whilst we ate our starters. There was a little mix up, as neither we had asked for their meals to be served with our starters, nor was it explained that would be the case ( so maybe our fault for not checking this ) I was overcharged at the bar for a glass of Prosecco that I’d not asked for nor ordered. My order was for a pint of Guinness and a half of cider, and was overcharged by £6-95 ! I said to the member of staff that that was very expensive for a pint and a half at which point he’d realised his mistake and apologised and quickly rectified it ! On check out I mentioned that there were stains on the carpet in my room, that had certainly not been caused by me nor my grandson, the member of staff noted this down and told me that they would report this to the housekeeping team. The staff and stay was a pleasant experience, the few issues experienced would not stop me from returning and staying again.
