“Great Choice in Dusseldorf”

We stayed at the Mitte in Dusseldorf while having a booth at a trade show there. The hotel staff was superb, friendly, multi-lingual, and very helpful with restaurant recommendations, getting taxis and all those things you need while traveling in a foreign country. The location is also excellent. Lots of public transportation, (the hotel gave us free passes during our stay!) and there are tons of superb restaurants within blocks of the hotel; classic German bierhaus, Korean, Turkish seafood, wine bar, we didn't have to walk more than 2 blocks to great food and drink. And after a long day at a trade show, that is important. Clean, comfortable, friendly, great breakfasts. Two thumbs up.

“Almost in the middle”

Located about 15 min walk from main station, it is away from the "station area" atmosphere. About a 30 min walk to the Alt Stadt along some very nice streets including the Ko, it is away from the city bustle. My room was large and so was the shower area. High ceiling and windows felt even more spacious. A good deal for the money: I stayed 6 nights.

A well situated reasonably priced hotel. All attractions within walking distance, a few minutes from central station and shopping area. Good breakfast. Added bonus of free transport card for use within city of Düsseldorf. Can be used on return trip to the airport. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff situated about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, and only a few minutes walk from the old town.

If I ever go back to Dusseldorf,will definatly stay at this hotel! The service was great,the staff very friendly and the breakfast was awesome,which by the way was included in the price of the stay! Also included in the stay was a 24 hour transit pass ! This hotel was a very good value for your money!

I have stayed at the Dusseldorf Mitte before (2 years ago) so I didn’t have to think twice about staying there again. For me the location is not that important as I love to travel on public transport, however it is relatively central being almost half way between the main train station and shopping areas, a 5 minute walk takes you to the local u-bhan station and from there you have access to almost all of Düsseldorf and the surrounding districts. On both occasions I have obtained a free pass for public transport which saves time and money on getting around. I was working in the north of Düsseldorf close to the airport but again the public transport system is second to none making distance almost irrelevant, The hotel is clean and very comfortable, and at three stars is, in my opinion, a little under rated, I’ve stayed in much more expensive hotels in Europe with less comfort. Everything I needed was there especially for a business trip and for a relatively low cost, for me the hotel is a means to and end a place to sleep and freshen up, and this hotel ticked all the boxes, and some. My only criticism was the lack of wireless internet in the rooms, but to be honest I managed without it on this occasion but in the future and for a longer stay this may be an issue, that said I didn’t look into it too much and there may well have been an option all be it at extra cost

My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only down fall was the parking. But that will be anywhere you stay downtown Dusseldorf.
