“Two rooms, with view.”

My friend Ms Gibb and I spent 2 nights at the Grand City hotel. We could not have been better pleased with the experience. The staff totally professional, courteous an helpful. The rooms, clean and well-cared for by the appropriate staff . We had a thoroughly pleasant stay and would be pleased if you used this unsolicited recommendation in any way you think appropriate

“Decent and Convenient stay”

A good experience except a few notes: the carpet in the room needs desperate replacement and also the older lift directly by the lobby has a pull-type door. This door touches the carpet and it does not close easily. So it happens that in some cases the lift, though free, it is stuck at some floor because the previous user did not push the door to close. So you have to walk to the end of the hallway to use a newer lift with sliding doors. They just have to find a way to trim the carpets or the door. Other than that, a pleasing hotel in a convenient quiet location at a good price.

“Great Hotel and great price.”

The hotel is situated approx 10 mins walk from Hbf and is very central to the city. I would suggest taking the S line from airport to Hbf for E2.3 and then walk to the hotel. There are restaurants and bakeries in the vicinity. The hotel is really good value as the service is great, rooms are clean, mini bar is free and restocked with water and a coke daily! Coffee and tea maker in the room and the hotel also provide complimentary slippers. A lovely fresh bathrobe is also provided for use during your stay. On top of this, WIFI in the room is free. I was totally satisfied with this hotel and I can fully recommend to business people and leisure travellers.

Staff was very good and helpful, and city center location is very good but the hotel looks old and tired....

“Decent hotel for the price”

The best thing about the hotel was friendly staff. They were professional, polite and helpful. Hotel was a bit old, rooms were tiny. The keys to door did not work. Airconditioning was not working properly. Rooms not maintained to high standard. Bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep. Parking on street is free after 6 PM. There is a 24 hr shop a couple of mins walking distance from the hotel.
