“Ideal for stopovers/shopping”

Friendly staff, clean room, heating works (if you turn it on), own key to front door to come in after 23:00, interesting breakfast room. Only drawback the TV (gets only one channel), but great location if you're looking for somewhere to stay in between flights or for a place within walking distance of the central train station for a 2-day shopping trip

Hotel Petersburg was as discribed very modern downside was room on a bit small but was clean and tidy

“Noise problem”

In the room was noise more then 60 dBa, becouse the window gasket not seal properly. In shower the trap was blocket (pluget) inside with some obstructure. The rest is good.

“Loud Drills and dodgy bed”

Unfortunately this Hotel was not up to its three star standards. It was clean and very simple. We had a king sized bed at extra cost but it only had a single mattress. There were no hair dryers, or soaps or shampoos. We were awoken at 7am to drilling, banging and sawing upstairs that went on for about an hour. Feel I should have paid about five pounds more to stay somewhere better.

“Bed too short or am i too tall at 6 ' 2 ???”

Reception Staff had very poor english with little or non, with the hotel's website in German, French and English I was expecting them to be english speaking, no resturant on night or a real bar to speak of. Hotel was a bit away from anything really having to get a taxi to any normal bars or resturants Half decent chinese restuarant over the street about 100 yards that was it really had to book this last minute so my own fault really...

“Not for business”

Although the service is friendly and they try to be very helpful, this hotel is really not geared up for the business traveller. The in room facilities are poor (had a mini bar but there was nothing in it, a telephone but no internet, no iron or trouser press, one radiator in the bedroom, bathroom one didn't work, only a shower, no bath, not a problem in itself but it took at least 5 mins of both the hot tap in the sink and the shower on full blast to get any hot water!). Double bed was quite firm and could only get out one side. Reception was a wilderness at occasions, even to the point that I had to go out the fire exit because the front door didn't work and there was no-one around to let me out! On the plus side, it's in a fairly good location and the breakfast buffet was well stocked.

The room and hotel good for short stay not modern no AC when i was there the room was boiling and a bit noisy from other rooms. central ,easy access to locasl amenities hotel management and staff above fantastic very helpful and glad to assisit.

“I can't recommend this hotel”

This hotel is loud, the service personal is unfriendly. I feel not comfortable in this hotel. The price is unacceptable high and misrelated. I will not come back to this hotel.

“Perfect example of false advertisement”

The room is extremely tiny, the twin bed takes up the entire room except for the couch that has stains and tears in it. My shower head completely fell off and broke when I turned the water on, I had to shower with the hose. The sauna is not included in the room price, which is over priced for what the hotel offers, which isnt much. Yes, it is on a corner in central Dusseldorf, but not a corner that you would want to be on at night.
