“Great location with friendly staff”

The hotel is in a great location within a 4 minute walk from the main railway station. The tram stop is literally at the door with access to trams that take you to the main station and city area. The rooms are decent with clean linen and towels. The staff speak English and are more than happy to help with directions and suggestions on things to do in Dusseldorf. I would definitely stay here again.

“A great value near the train station”

This hotel was a great value for our stay in Dusseldorf. We spent three nights in all. The hotel staff was very helpful in directing us to different areas of the city and the hotel is a couple block from the main train station so you can easily get around. There is a small bar where you can have a couple drinks. We did not try the restaurant (the bar is in this restaurant), however we had the breakfast one day and it is a nice spread of cold cuts, fish, cheese, yogurt, fruit and bread. After the first morning, we wanted to eat lighter so we went to the market in the train station for pastries.

“Reasonable price and nice extra's”

We flew into Dusseldorf to begin a week in Europe. This hotel is very convenient to the Westbahnhof station. The room included passes for the public transportation. Very nice way to get around and the trolley station is literally at the front door. Quiet street. Courteous staff.

“Central, good value”

Hotel with good value for money. Very good location...walkable to city centre (10-15 minutes). Excellent breakfast spread which was included...cooked and cold dishes. No swimming pool/jacuzzi but this is not the end of the world.

The location of the hotel was great. It was close to public transportation, as well as 2 great shopping districts, and where there's shopping there are good restaurants and cafes. It's perfect for a couple of days of business in DDF.

“Convenient but average”

The best thing about this hotel is its convenience for Düsseldorf's excellent public transport - it is about 3 minutes walk from the main station, and you get free travel throughout the Rhine-Ruhr area. The room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable, and very quiet even though it overlooked the tram stop. Breakfast (extra) was a good selection, but used places were not cleared quickly so it was hard to find somewhere to sit at 8.30. Generally good value.

“Very solid hotel”

The hotel is 2 minutes from the main train station near many restaurants but not in the greatest area of Dusseldorf, but not bad. Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and pretty good. Staff was friendly and spoke lots of English. room was small but decent and clean.

“Convenient but there are better choices”

Hotel is very clean, good breakfast buffet, conveniently located only about 300m from the main train station. However I found front desk staff to be absolutely useless. They would not know any local restaurants (they kept recommending their own restaurant, which had probably the worst German food I've ever tasted for the last 10 years travelling to this country), they could not help with internet trouble and I had to talk to the manager when I wanted a duplicate invoice, because the girl at the desk refused to print it out. Bizarre, but true. Overall I would recommend hotel for casual stay, as long as you do not need to ask front desk for anything.
