Only one night but very clean and the staff were not only very friendly but also efficient. Wish there was a salad bar. And really miss having tea/coffee facilities in room. Just one suggestion - would be useful if the hair dryer had a longer wire long enough to reach the mirror.

It was a welcoming hotel. Clean and vibrant. The breakfast was sumptous. I would go back to this hotel. The only downside was the pool- kids below 10 were not allowed and you have to use a cap all the time which hasn't been stated prior to our booking.

We had a short weekend break with family in Rome. This hotel is well located near the airport if you drive just perfect with free parking. This should be a five star because rooms are very clean modern and new but the breakfast buffet let us down so we gave a 4 stars.

This is a large property some 500 rms, I think.
The room itself was large and spacious. The bed was most comfortable.
We were surprised that breakfast was not included. If you want breakfast, be sure you check the ammenities.
There is a shuttle to the airport and one to the central city.
Both were very handy services.

Stayed at hotel for a week while visiting Rome. Hotel room was great... there are allot of "bells and whistles" in the room that are great but not practical so may not be suitable for kids (depends on age I suppose) - Overall room was clean... with the exception of the carpet. It may have just been stained but it just looked gross. You can see general wear and tear in the bathroom. No major issues with exception of transportation... (until you learn options). Expedia states transportation / shuttle... there is a shuttle it is 5 Euros per person / each way - It is a mini shuttle and will fit people on first come / first serve basis. It runs every two hours-ish it seems till 9PM. It drops you off at Piazza Venezia and that is near Colosseum and lots of buses. When searching "Near Colosseum" this comes up within a few miles... so it seems like you can walk it or bike it, etc. but because of highways you cannot do that AT ALL! The neighborhood surrounding hotel seems to have been hit by "life" and to a person who does not know for sure... may seem unsafe. Taxis from the City Center are around 14 to 25 Euro depending on traffic, etc. each way. Cost from / to airport is $45 to $50 for a cab or $35 for a group shuttle each way / per person for shuttle. The hotel staff are VERY NICE! The best part of this hotel is the restaurant! The food was very YUMMY and the hours were excellent.

We read the reviews for this hotel and we decided to book it as we were hiring a car (plenty of free car parking space is provided at this hotel you will need a SAT NAV to find this hotel). This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and I mean nowhere. It's a 20 minute drive to the nearest metro station. Rome centre is about 45-50 minutes drive depending on the traffic. We found parking easy and cheap (we live in London so we're used to these prices) Traffic in Rome can be very very scary if you're not used to big city driving. Also hire a small car as some of the streets in central Rome are alleyways.
This hotel is a great hotel. Clean fresh and modern rooms with great heating and air conditioning. The beds and pillows were very very comfortable and have all the facilities that you would expect. The wifi went down for 2 of the days we were staying although there are PCs in the reception area.
The swimming pool is €5 a day per person.
The breakfast is typical continental breakfast cheese/ham rolls/ cakes and cereals and yogurts. Fruit juice and coffee and tea. Simple and good quality.
All in all we were very very happy with our stay here and we used the restaurant one evening and the food was of a very high standard and very good service. The chef also came out to see if everything was ok. We had no complaints.

The Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly upon arrival and check out & the bar man who served us for a quick drink in the evening was great and recommended we try a Italian styled gin instead of the usual and was great!

The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The cleaning service was also excellent.
It is a fair distance from the centre of Rome but as we were staying for over a week and don't mind the odd bus ride that wasn't a problem for us. Once you've done the bus and metro trip into Rome once or twice it's actually very easy to get in and out and we never waited long for a bus.
The only thing that disappointed us about the hotel was the leisure facilities which is a big part of why we booked that hotel. The swimming pool, spa, restaurant/pizzeria and gym etc. is not actually onsite at the hotel and is in the leisure centre next door to the hotel. You do get free access to much of it but it's open to the public and the swimming pool is always busy with locals doing lengths, which takes away from the holiday atmosphere. We also didn't get to go in the outdoor pool as it wasn't opened whilst we were there, despite good weather.
Also, there are no tea or coffee facilities inside the rooms and when I went to get a cup of tea from the restaurant next door, they wouldn't let me take the tea myself but instead follwed me to my room with the tray just so that they could charge an extra 6 euros for room service!
Aside for those minor points, the hotel was brilliant. The bed was comfy and the room air conditioned and if you had the window shut it was very quiet and peaceful. Again, the staff were amazing and spoke flawless English.

A couple of miles south of the city centre, EUR takes its name from Esposizione Universale di Roma, built for an exhibition in 1942. The bombastic architecture was then intended to glorify Fascism, but now is home to shops, cinemas and clubs and exhibitions. Within the marble halls there are also three very good museums, including the fascinating Museum of Roman Civilization.
