We were impressed...

The hotel was very clean, had all the amenities we wanted. Breakfast was awesome, the kids loved it. We were happy with the surrounding options for food and shopping. 30 minutes after we turned the lights out I became very disappointed at how hard the beds were. I was preparing to leave a bad review and the next morning my back was hurting. As we were getting dressed my daughter found the knob that adjusts the bed softness, somewhat hidden on the side of the bed. It was set to FIRM. I wish I had known that during the night! At check-out I saw the postcard sized sign that explained the adjustable beds but I didn't notice it when I checked in. So in the end it was my fault but I was surprised this major feature was so under-advertised. Also, the pool was surprisingly cold but the hot tub was surprisingly hot, so it all evened out in the end. I would go back if ever in Boise again.

Not what I expected nor hoped for............

For a Suite, the room was cramped and the furniture was awful. Usually, there is a blanket for use. Well, there was. Unfortunately, it had holes in it and didn't smell fresh at all. The "King" size bed was not what I would consider King. My husband's feet hung off the end of the bed. The floors were filthy and my socks were black after one evening. Don't drink the coffee in the room or in the lobby. Also, bring your own toilet paper if you don't want to use gas station quality TP. The local newspaper was an additional charge. Skip the $9.95 breakfast buffet. First, it should be included in the price of a Suite for the weekend. Second, it was school lunch quality. After "eating" we went to a restaurant for a meal. We had requested a river view room so we could enjoy the view of the river. Unfortunately, we had to leave the blackout drapes closed in an effort to block out the road noise. All in all, we couldn't wait for our weekend away to be over so we could go home.

In town to look at real estate in the Boise area. Great location. Can't wait to return.

Nice hotel, good location

Overall a very good hotel. The only mild criticisms I have are that the breakfast buffet was only passable and one day cleaning staff used so much scented "air freshener" that I had to open the window, turn the bathroom fan and leave the room. One major plus was the prices for the room service menu -- they were nowhere near the usual inflated hotel prices, instead they were reasonable and the food was good. The hotel is very centrally located for traveling around Eagle and is only 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Boise on SH 44. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I definitely would return.
