Not many amenities but everything else was booked. The staff was fantastic! Great biscuits and gravy.

Two times too much money!

Posted Feb 10, 2015
$45 room that cost $90! Being near a resort during ski season, they take advantage.

Overnight stay

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Hot breakfast in the morning. Good clean room and a great staff
Cons: Update the rooms
Location: Good location right before the town
Late night arrival and Richard was there to greet me and had my room ready. Clean room soft bed and a good hot breakfast in the morning. I will return with my family and stay again.

fun in the snow

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Location and staff.
Location: Skiing and snow boarding.
The staff went out of their way with hospitality, calling me immediately notifying of a lost wallet and putting it in the mail. Great guy Richard.

Great experience

I had the best experience staying there! Front desk was extremely nice/super friendly and accommodated me when I was in need of anything. The view was beautiful from our room.

Never again

Dirty bathroom, hair and fingernails on floor and the shower tub has many cracks that pinch your feet. I'm sure there is a ton of mold under it.

80's Flashback!

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Nice rustic looking place from the outside, but that is deceiving. The rooms are trapped in an 80's time machine. Old furniture, fixtures, beds and even the 19 inch old tube style TV's. I can at least say I did have hot water while showering and the staff was friendly, but overall this place has seen better days (just not recently)!

Good deal in a small ski town!

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Location to Angel Fire
Location: Not much in Eagle Nest, but location to Angel Fire is great, and there are a couple of little diners close by.
My family and I stayed at this hotel during our ski trip to Angel Fire. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our time here. The hotel was a good deal and they also allowed pets for a small daily fee. There is a big game room with a kitchen which we took advantage of while we were there. The room itself is okay. It is an older hotel, but the room was clean and functional. The hotel staff was VERY friendly. We took full advantage of the breakfast, hot biscuits with gravy, cereal, waffles, hot chocolate. It was only a short 15 minute drive to Angel Fire. I would definitely stay here again if we go back to Eagle Nest.

Great value

Posted Dec 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
As other reviews have stated if you expect an econo lodge it's going to be great. If you're expecting something nice it won't be great. For a ski trip you're right inbetween angel fire and red river and for $85 or so a night it can't be beat. Super friendly and accommodating too. I'll stay here again.
