The employee at the front desk was chit chatting with another employee while checking us in and said our room number OUT LOUD. This is basic hotel etiquette, you don’t say the room number outloud for safety reasons. My husband and I didn’t say anything as there was no one other than her and the other employee ( or possibly a friend ) as this person was not wearing a uniform. We checked into our room and the shower was DISGUSTING, it was stained and the room didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly. We ended up leaving shortly after because we were uncomfortable and grossed out. As we were walking out, the same employee was checking someone out and she again said this guests room number out loud. Now, my husband and I know exactly what room this man is staying in. We left and didn’t come back. Horrible service.

The location of the hotel is great- I would of given the hotel a 5 star review but the wall’s in the hotel are too thin - you can hear everything in the rooms next to you and that’s not good. The bathroom tub has rust around the drain and it was dirty.

The property itself is tucked deep in a parking lot, which isnt the easiest to get to. We made a few wrong turns and eventually got there. The pond next to the hotel is gorgeous, especially watching the sun rise in the morning. Staff is very friendly while checking in and out. It would be nice if they had automatic doors. I could see it being problematic for anyone carrying a lot of bags. It is pet friendly, got to pet a few really sweet dogs. The rooms are small, but comfortable. You cant open the door to get in and have the bathroom door open at the same time. We bring a big fan since we dont stay up as late as others, but could still hear a gal having the time of her life at 3am over the fan. We got tl walk Parrilla de san miguel restaurant, which is highly recommended. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

It was the cheapest price. But that being said it’s over priced for what you get. Room is tiny. No King beds. TV volume at the fullest they set was not loud enough. In the morning the noise from the staff was just. Very loud, ask someone else if they experienced the same & he did. WiFi didn’t work, lost connection with DirectV. Had to troubleshoot myself. Not counter in bathroom, just a sink. Cost for this should be at $60-$75 range not $160.

Two Nights in Eagle Pass for Border Mission Trip
The third floor room was very clean, functional, and smaller than most hotel room suites. The bed was very comfortable. The realm was fairly quiet with only some minor noise coming in from the hall and from the window. They have coffee, tea and hot cocoa. But no breakfast service. It was one of the more modern recently built hotels in town. It's in a difficult location to access though.
