Cute place with extremely pleasant hosts!Posted May 26, 2014
Would love to stay at this place again. Had no idea how cute Bloomsfield was despite growing up in nearby Canandaigua. Our hosts were fantastic & the house was very comfortable.

Superb B&BPosted Aug 25, 2013
Location: Wine tasting in Finger Lakes region, water sports at nearby Lake Canandaigua
We highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Rochester/Finger Lakes region in upstate New York. Bob and Lynda are the best of hosts and made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until the time we left. The breakfasts were delicious and filled us up so much that we could skip lunch. The owners are very personable and very helpful with their recommendations on things to do in the area.

wonderful historic home in a rural settingPosted Jul 25, 2013
Pros: The setting, the hosts, the food.
Cons: Would have like a firmer mattress.
Location: Close to wine country, a lake, and a town with a great summer theater.
Delightful stay with congenial hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and filling.

Abner Adams House B&B - Perfect HostsPosted Aug 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
My husband and I have never stayed in a B&B before and we weren't sure how we would like the experience. After staying at the Abner Adams B&B, we were not disappointed. Lynda and Bob are the PERFECT hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated and we immediately felt welcome and comfortable. We loved our cozy room, Nana's Nook. The bed is comfy and had no trouble falling asleep at night. The private bath has a claw foot tub for relaxing in the bubbles, which was a welcome luxury after a long day exploring the Finger Lakes. Just one caution if you stay in this room-the tub is a little difficult to get into and there is no hand rail for support so be careful getting in and out. Also, use the bath mat provided as the tub is slippery. Breakfast every morning was amazing. Juice, Coffee, Tea, Fresh baked goods, Fresh fruit, Main course and edible flowers in season!!! : ) Everything was Delicious and we never left the table hungry!!! We did not have to eat lunch and at times didn't even need dinner. If we wanted a snack, there is a large armoire in the dining room providing chips, granola bars, etc. and all kinds of beverages. If you want to relax, read, or just enjoy the serenity, there are rocking chairs outside, hammocks in the garden, and an enclosed porch. Bob and Lynda know the area well so if you need ideas or recommendations for places to see or things to do, don't hesitate to ask. They provide many brochures, maps and also some coupons to area shops. The B&B is a little bit away from attractions but we did not mind driving to our destinations. It was pretty easy to get around with a map and the scenery is beautiful. While in the Finger Lakes, spend some time on the wine trails, do some shopping and visit Watkins Glen State Park. Beautiful waterfalls and many photo opportunities. Just make sure you wear good walking or hiking shoes. Would not recommend flip flops as the trail can be slippery and uneven at times. There are 832 steps to the top of the Gorge Trail so be prepared for a good workout. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in the Finger Lakes. If you are thinking of staying in a B&B, definitely consider staying at the Abner Adams House. You will not be disappointed!!

Bob and Linda were most gracious hosts. The home is lovely and its location near Canandaigua Lake and Wine Path is good.
