We just got back from a wonderful vacation at this resort. The views are spectacular, right on beach, quiet, very relaxing, exceptionally clean, friendly and helpful staff, great food at grill on the resort, dive staff very knowledgeable, experienced, worked with us before our visit toward padi certification, pool and hot tub were wonderful after and before diving, our teenage boys had plenty to keep them busy and entertained, including wifi. A great family resort on the less crowded part of grand cayman. We plan to go back within the year.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling right near the hotel was very good, especially under the piers. The rooms were spacious, everything necessary for comfort was there, good full kitchen, and a wonderful balcony overlooking the ocean. The view could not have been better and more relaxing.

My husband and I stayed at The Reef Resort May 10-17, 2014. This was our first Caribbean vacation experience and it exceeded our expectations! If you want cell phone service, LIME is the BEST CARRIER ON THE ISLAND! We rented a car and drove from the airport. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive from Georgetown but it is worth it! The Resort is on the East Side of the island so it is more quiet, and you are away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown and most of all the cruise ship passengers!! The hotel staff was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and KNOWLEDGEABLE about things to do or places to eat on the island. We stayed in a Deluxe King Bed Suite. Our room was on the ground floor and we had a LOVELY VIEW of the beach and the ocean. Do not worry about bringing a towel for the beach or pool because you can get them from the resort. Also you do not have to rent beach chairs they are FREE!! There was always something going on every night at the resort which was nice. They have a BBQ one night during the week which was wonderful. The food at the resort is also great! Everything we tried on the menu was delicious! If you would rather make a sandwich, there is an IGA, grocery store, right across the road from the resort as well as an Italian eatery. I really advise trying the local jerk chicken and pork, I advise Peppers Smokehouse in Georgetown, it was delicious. Also you can snorkel at the resort and book your island activities at the resort. THE REEF WAS WONDERFUL AND I HOPE TO RETURN SOO
