“Fantastic hotel”

We stayed at the Hotel de Flandre last year and loved it, that is why we chose it again this year. Excellent location, great staff, very clean...overall it is a very good hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone!

“Lovely hotel”

I booked a night at the Hotel de Flandre as a romantic surprise for my boyfriend and we were not disappointed at all! The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly and they all could speak English and French fluently. We were given a beautifull "loft room" with a very nice view. The only downside of our stay was the heat in the room. There was no air conditioning or fan which should be taken into consideration by the hotel management, especially for those hot summer nights.

“Friendly helpful staff”

Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room, across the courtyard. We did have a small problem with the cold water to our bathroom basin, but the staff gave us bottled water as required. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with plenty of choice. The location is excellent, an easy walk to all the main attractions. We will stay again on our next visit to Gent.

“Very nice hotel”

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was well situated to the center of Ghent with a max of 10 minutes walk to most places of interest. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and we would not hesitate to go again and certainly recommend to friends. The breakfast provided was better than expected for a 'continental' breakfast.The canal trip was great and a 'must do'

Very modern, queen size bed, comfortable room. No room service but there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby

“The Best in Location & Service”

I would highly recommend this hotel both from its location and service and it was reasonably priced!! The staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful to me as a new visitor to their town and when I wasn't ready to leave yet they were kind enough to allow me to stay the extra 2 days that I requested. I'd stay there again in a minute!!

“Great place and centrally located”

I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel. The staff were very helpful in pointing out restaurants and recommending areas worth seeing. The loft rooms are very nice with great views of the city. If I go back to Ghent, I'll be staying here.

“Belgian chic in historic location”

This is a delightful hotel, near to all the attractions of Gent, including the historic waterfront view, just a couple of steps away. The service was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A pleasing blend of modern furniture and a period setting. Convenient supermarket just across the road for supplies if you want to avoid using the minibar. Parking easy at nearby secure car-park at reasonable rate. Only downside is the excessively expensive breakfast (we didn't sample it!). Highly recommended overall.

“Really relaxing hotel to stay in.”

Will stay there again next time I am in Gent. The loft rooms were lovely.
