“Great place to stay!!!!”
This place was great. Everything was top notch. I used most of the amenities and they were excelent. Very centrally located.
“find another hotel”
I cant believe how filthy the carpeting was! I walked around my room in bare feet for only a couple minutes as the strange, waxy, damp feeling had me nervous. Walking down the hall in white socks to get a soda from the vending machine, resulted in the bottom of my socks turning black by the time I got back to the room..maybe 40 yards total. If you have to stay in Moline, I recommend finding a hotel across the river in Davenport, Iowa. I found myself traveling there (approx 15 mi) for 3 nights to eat.
“Don't use the ice bucket”
The staff was overall friendly, with a few that were not rude but did not go out of their way to express customer service. The room appeared nice, and the beds were okay. However, when I went to use the ice bucket I found something on the lid. I am not even going to guess at what it was. I left the lid upside down so the cleaning service could see it, but after staying for three nights, nothing was done about it. In all fairness I did not bring this up to the staff, but am disappointed, and concerned, that regular cleaning did not notice this. What else are they missing???????????????
“Quite place for a business traveler”
i was on a business trip and stopped for the evening. i arrived later than I had wanted but the front desk attendant was very helpful and got me checked in quickly. The room was clean and quiet. I used the free internet service to check emails and weather. The connection was easy and connection speed was very good. Breakfast the next morning was good. Checkout was fast and easy.
“Loud night shift”
I was awaken at about 12:30 by a party in one of the next rooms. Pretty loud music. After a while I decided to get something from my car. I stepped out and realized the music was coming from way down the hall. As I walked down the hall into the Lobby, i found that the music was coming from the night shift person at the front desk. I couldn't see anyone and could not have gotten their attention anyway because the music was so loud they would not have heard me.
“Will go back again”
Possible backup lighting system in case of emergency. The lights went out the night we stayed through no fault on their part.
