“My Ramada Experience”

This Hotel is conveniently located in the mist of a major highway which makes it easy to have access in and out to town. Besides they have exceptional breakfast in the morning. Thanks

“Toni”

This hotel was not in a very good neighborhood so walking was not the safest. Our first room smelled bad, and we found out that was because there was a plumbing problem. My roommate came back (she got in a few hours before I did) to find the room flooded with sewage. Once we were moved, the room was cleaner and better taken care of, but the service is very poor. We asked the hotel shuttle to take us to the airport to pick up our rental car and it took over an hour. Once he found out we were not catching a flight, he didn't worry about getting us there in time for our reservation.

“I don't recommend this”

The airport shuttle had the name of other hotel, they did not tell me that and waited more than an hour for it. The hotel does not have restaurant or something similar and there are not restaurants near the hotel. The staff is not kind, your have to beg for attention, to to ask any simple question. The hotel smells bad. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

“too expensive for what it offers”

It was ok. Ice machine did not work, floor in room with crumbs, but everything else good. Expensive for whaf it offers, and being far from airport (20 mins).

“Very clean, abit far from NYC but good for drivers”

Location seems a bit far from city but no worries to walk from station. just 5min. And 30min $6.25 from NYC. Room was very clean and microwave inside.Breakfast was not bad. good for car traveller to NYC,

“"My whole family was disappointed, not impressed at all, it was very very BAD"”

Nothing like the pictures, we walked in the lobby and the smell was extremly bad we wanted to walk out and cut our loses! The lobby was terrible dirty! The room wasn't fit to stay in the carpet was so dirty l wouldn't let the kids walk on it with bare feet. Very very dirty and the smell was very bad.There was noise and fighting all night long! RATE was terrible would not recommend over all experiance was terrible! Contennial Breakfast was included my daughter suggested we go down, l didn't even want to stay there but to eat there, no way! Been to many motals in my life this one took the cake UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Clean hotel but in bad part of town. Farther from airport than claimed.”

We stayed in our hotel room the entire time from when we arrived to when we departed because the surrounding area seemed too dangerous for a mother and her children. Make sure to coordinate shuttle scheduling to the airport AS YOU CHECK IN!! I was told to just tell the front desk at check-out and they would get me on the shuttle. Not true! I had to take a taxi cab at my expense because the next shuttle wasn't going to be back in time to get me to the airport.

“Convenient and Comfortable”

I stayed overnight to be on time for a surgery nearby early the next morning. The location is good, near the Brick Church train station to easily visit Newark/NYC and Ramada provides a free ride to EWR airport if you need one. Free parking adds to the value for easy access to NYC. The neighborhood is uninspiring but OK and has a few fast food options but I don’t know about any nicer restaurants. I walked to the Chinese restaurant two blocks away for take-out and it was pretty good. The lobby was OK and a few people were sitting there having a conversation; the atmosphere was pleasant. My room was comfortable and in decent condition. I checked out early before the lobby breakfast bar had opened but the set-up looked good. I didn’t use the fridge/microwave but they are there if you need them and there is a supermarket down the block, another value feature. The sanitation was good and I really liked the soap they have. There is a shop in the lobby for sundries and a soda machine on every floor. I could tell that my neighbors were having a MUCH better time than I was but it was still quiet enough for me to sleep well and get the rest I needed. For visiting NYC or staying overnight to catch an early flight at EWR you will be satisfied here.
