“calm haven in bustling seaside town”

very happy with the overall service from the hotel. Location fantastic, a few minutes walk into the town for beaches, restaurants and shops. All very accessible. The Hotel provides a place to escape if you want to be quiet, a lovely courtyard. would go back.

“Great hotel and location”

Picked this place completely at random. Turned out to be a very nice place. Staff very friendly (even coming to the street to show me how to get the car park when I was lost and tired after a full days biking). Breakfast good, very nice area with loads of restaurants and the old seafront 2 mins away. Quiet and comfortable room.

“Great location”

The hotel was conveniently located within a block of the city center, but amazingly quiet. Parking for hotel difficult to find. Was understaffed, at least in Autumn, with one person as bellboy, registration, consierge, etc. Misinformation as to whether breakfast was inlcuided. My wife went down alone, was told it was included, after we left (my fault), I noticed a charge for 12 euros for her breakfast, though she only had coffee!

“Spring for a "medium" room”

In May 2010, my partner and I stayed one night at Casa Pairal in the least expensive room to save $. It was ok, just ok, as we were in the attic with a tiny window at waist level. Technically, this was a garden view, but since there is a big tree in front of the window, there was no view. If we had it to do over, I'd spring for a medium room which had a tiny balcony for a few dollars more or stay elsewhere. Hotel is a short walk to the train station which is why we chose it as we didn't have a car. The waterfront is nearby but you can't see it from the hotel. It's an old house, and our private bath was lime green. There is a nice small outdoor pool, but since we just needed a place to sleep for the night, we weren't there long enough to use it. All in all, Casa Pairal is ok, but nothing to write home about, and our room was disappointing. The hotel is located in the part of Collioure that is a small beach town near the sea.
