Grim, don’t be tempted by photos
Grim. Don’t believe the photos. The room is more the size of a prison cell. One shelf under the window that didn’t lie flat. View from window was A/C units for all other rooms. Bathroom so small door wouldn’t open fully as obstructed by the toilet. Tiny curtained in shower cubicle which had grubby grout in the tiles and around the seals. “Wardrobe” was curtained off MDF shelving with a couple of hangers. Only decent thing was the wifi

Well placed but dingy
Hotel was very dated, which I could accept, but the furniture loked like old bits of cast-offs, rickety and non-matching. Old wood--chip wallpaper, on some walls. The bathroom had a bath, which was clean but old, but with no means of fixing the shower to to the wall. There wasn't enough hot water for one complete shower. The hotel was central and the sheets were clean, but the experience was basic. It was a bed, no more.

We didn’t know what to expect from Hotel de la Loge when we booked the room. First, let me start by saying this hotel is centrally located in the old town. It was close to shopping, dining, bares, and not far at all from both the airport and the train station. You can’t beat the location! Now, as for the property, the staff couldn’t be kinder or more helpful. They were really great and always friendly. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was the only thing I would criticize and the criticism is purely a manner of taste. I hate bathtubs and this bathroom had a bathtub. I would have preferred a room with just a shower. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Central, quiet, basic but good value for money!
Very central, great for access to restaurants and bars. Only access is on foot (100m from the road). Building is great, old and interesting. Rooms are quite basic and ours would have benefited from a new mattress. Breakfast Crossiants were amazing. In summary, If you want somewhere quirky to rest your head for a night then this place is good value for money. If you want a luxury hotel spend more and stay elsewhere.

Great hotel in the middle of the old town
It's excellently located. There are lots of little restaurants and bars around in the small laneways if you go looking. It's near a lot of historical sites. The building itself I think is hundreds of years old, which is pretty cool! Staff were lovely, helpful, and check in/out was all so easy. Great price as well.

Superb location
Friendly helpful staff. Location superb - right in the centre of town. Our room was okay but could do with a bit of a makeover. We didn't spend much time in there though so not a problem. We had breakfast every morning but think it could be improved. Maybe some fruit salad, a choice of yogurts - there was only natural- and muesli/granola type cereals. On the whole we had a very enjoyable time and would use the hotel again.

Great location
Funky old hotel in the old part of the city - it worked for us. The room was a little on the worn side and had that faint waft of cigarettes of days gone by smell. The mattress was of a certain age and maybe should be retired. We were there on a Sunday night and the front desk was abandoned after 9:00 PM and we were saddened because we needed a corkscrew and nobody was around. Otherwise it was great and a pleasure to wake up, look out the widow and see the narrow streets of the old city.

only went for the rugby match and to do a little sightseeing.Hotel was spot on for location,manager and staff were very helpful .Nothing seemed to much trouble,asked for kettle and 3 cups, milk and all were provided for no extra charge.Fantastique

It is a small hotel in the centre of the old town very close to restaurants, bars etc etc. It is a lovely town. The hotel owners were very helpful and friendly.

very convenient location
although it was difficult for us to find from the street -- it is down some steps and through a narrow passage-- it is conveniently located and comfortable. The reception staff could not have been nicer!! They answered all our questions slowly and clearly in English and made sure we understood especially about the car park. Breakfast is definitely worth 7.50euro with a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt and cheeses, baguette, and croissant. Hotel Laloge is a good budget hotel. Wifi was very strong. No problems.

Nice hotel in old part of town
We loved our stay at the Hotel de la Loge. The young couple who owns the place were so sweet and helpful, ever-ready to make us a dinner reservation, give us directions, or call a cab. They don't speak a lot of English but communication was relatively easy nonetheless. The rooms are small, as one expects in older hotels in Europe, but clean and comfortable. There are pretty decorative touches throughout the hotel, and an elevator also. Breakfast for 8 euros was tasty--as long as there are croissants and coffee, I'm happy! We'd go back in a second. Really a great place with lots of charm.

Nothing really wrong about this hotel, just lots of niggly thinks that get you. Only one pillow per person, One chair per room (plastic and uncomfortable). Small TV with remote you have to be within one metre to operate. Plus if they are going to attract foreign guests, have at least one English News channel- all in French + 4 Catalan channels. Plus I looked- no minibar & no hot breakfast available. On the plus side, you cannot get more central, you are a one minute walk to the main Plazas, the Cathedral & the Gatehouse!

Older family run small hotel in a historic building, very conveniently located, cosy and comfortable, with an eccentric decor that mixes 60's pieces with ancient setting. very friendly staff. we had a comfortable basic room. GOod shower, nice breakfasts, thoughtful touches.Would happily stay here again.

Old castle charm
Room was very big. It was clean. Our bathroom although spacious had some old fixtures. It has the charm of a very old castle which is what drew us to it. Lobby could use some updating. Looks as though efforts are being made to update rooms. Loved the location in the heart of a shopping area. Wish it was easier to find and had a place to pull up to, to unload luggage. Some of our group loved the rooms and some did not.

Really good location, central but no issues with noise. Room was a small double but I knew that when I booked it and I was travelling alone so not a problem, they do have larger doubles. Basic and the bathroom could do with updating but it was clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a short stay at a good price. I visited to attend a match at the Catalans Dragons rugby league club and it was ideal - near bars and restaurants, near to the bus stop to get to the ground but also within walking distance for the historic tourist attractions. View from the top of Le Castillet amazing.

Hotel in very old building with much character.
Nicely renovated in pedestrian only part of old inner city. (Medieval). Park in an underground public parking lot and obtain address for theft from the hotel. They arranged a discounted rate which is substantial. This garage is only a few hundred feet from the hotel and is very convenient. The staff is excellent and kind and pleasant. The room we stayed in had a double and a single bed and was very spacious. Bathroom, toilet very clean and modern. Suggest the hotel invest in a firmer mattress for the double bed, but otherwise no complaints. We shall return if possible.

The only thing that let down our stay was the bed in room 203. For both my partner and I the mattress was too soft and we had a bad nights sleep because of this. Otherwise we thought the hotel was just fine. Breakfast was a good price for a simple French type breakfast. The hotel is in a wonderful location.

Nice hotel, a little tired in places but otherwise nice and clean. Excellent central location, just by the town hall. Lack of parking is an issue however, it was a lot of hassle walking to the nearest car park and having to pay parking

Gem of a hotel
In the heart of the old town of Perpignan this treasure is hard to beat. The narrow cobbled walkway outside keeps the area very quiet. The rooms have modern boutique touches within the original Art Deco building incl inlaid ceilings and stem lights. Along with very comfortable beds, large bathroom, extra blankets and reverse air conditioning to give heat/ AC as required. The staff are extremely helpful and engaging. Will definitely stay again.

Warm welcome and perfect location.
We had a lovely room overlooking the square and the Hotel de Ville, with two balconies. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the quality of the bedding and furnishings have been upgraded. Breakfast was super! The building is delightfully quirky and great if you're bored with chain hotels!
