Very good, but...

Posted Apr 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
...we were unfortunate to stay for a few days when the weather was unseasonably warm, in April. Only a problem because the aircon was switched off for the winter, and the room was too warm to sleep in comfort. 'Open the window' the otherwise helpful reception staff said. But only one of the two windows opened, and the design is such that it flaps about and can't be fixed in position. Apart from that, a good hotel in a good location.

funky room, very holiday inn express service

Posted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good location, very funky modern room. Loved that you could open window. Walking distance to castle in heart of city and opera house attached. Felt very safe walking as a woman at night and in day around area. Good shopping and food options. Bed was queen when all other "double" rooms we booked on this tour were king beds but our overall quality of sleep was good. Shower was very large, bath/shower water pressure poor. Front desk staff not very helpful/attentive and breakfast very basic. Only get if included in reservation...don't pay high fee for it, not worth it, less than holiday inn Express breakfasts. We loved the city for brief stay.

Mini break

Posted Jan 23, 2014
Pros: Very modern, clean and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: nothing
Location: Perpignan is a small town. Some short walks around the canal which have some nice cafes. The shops are more expensive than UK prices.
Chose hotel just off the centre of town.

Good quality accommodation and great location.

Posted Dec 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was spacious, with a stylish finish, great bathroom and very comfortable bed. The lack of a bar makes the lobby area a bit sterile and is where breakfast is served so we opted to take it elsewhere. Very reasonable rate for such good accommodation though as its also very close to the town centre. We would certainly stay there again.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
We arrived at our hotel to find that they had given away our rooms and over booked with another party. This was the same that occurred for a number of others we met in the hotel lobby. We were provided sub standard accommodation at another Ibis Hotel in the city We were informed that if we wanted to meet a Manager we would have to return another day as they weren't available

Good fairly central suite hotel

A bit out of the centre (10 minutes walk). Big comfy room, friendly service even gave us a free beer each.not surprising the hotel is highly rated.
