“Super 8 East Stroudsburg, PA”

This is a family friendly clean hotel. I was impressed by the in room safe, microwave, and fridge. It was a clean room and quiet hotel. My husband and I were there for a romantic get away and we had a wonderful time. The price was cheap and the amenities were awesome. I highly recommend this hotel and intend to stay there again when I go back with my children.

“Stay in the mountains”

Mostly everything was fine. Breakfast was great and the staff was excellent. My queen-sized bed could have ben a little wider.

“Great Resting Stop”

On the way to NYC, this is the perfect place to stop to get rested up. Clean and comfortable. Quiet considering it is lterally feet from interstate 80.

“Very Basic Hotel”

This was a very basic hotel, very inexpensive and conveniently located right off the highway. One positive thing, it was very quiet. Everything in the room worked and the staff was pleasant. The breakfast was free and very simple, but the donoughts were fresh and the juice was good. One thing to note, they try to charge you $1.50 per person for use of the room safe (over and above the Expedia quoted price), and you specifically have to have it subtracted from your bill at checkout time to get it taken off if you did not use the safe. The staff was friendly in providing directions (and a map) and restaurant recommendations.

“Decent hotel for the price”

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel, it did everything it should do, provide with a clean place to sleep and that is what it did.

The room was very comfortable and relaxing. Had a very homey feel and quite comfortable.

“A place to lay our heads”

This motel is clean and quiet, a bit old but well kept. We were there for only two nights, so the small inconveniences were not too hard to live with. It was Pocono's race weekend and the place was booked solid. The girl at the front desk had been asked by another guest to switch rooms, so she gave him the room we booked. The only problem was that she then put us in a smoking room. It was not all that big of a deal and we could tell she was fairly desperate, so we did not say anything. She thanked us profusely for switching rooms. The smoke smell was not too bad. The bathroom was very small. The sink was in the bathroom and the vanity was also very small. The continental breakfast was quite adequate. When all was said and done, the room sufficed for our purposes.

“You get what you pay for!”

We weren't looking for much... just a place to sleep and have a coffee in the morning before heading out to breakfest. Both mornings there's no coffee and I'm woke up by other guests walking in the room above me for what seemed like hours... But, like my wife said.. "you get what you pay for". May need to rethink room location... or spend a little more money and try another hotel... But, I can't complain about the price.

“Extremely dissatisfied with receptionist named John.”

Person did not greet and had a unpleasant behaviour. We requested non-smoking room but got smoking room. We are not sure who made a mistake (Expedia or Super 8). Receptionist "John" told us that he did not have any non-smoking room to offer. Our stay was very unpleasant in smoking room. We had a 21/2 years old son with us.
