My absolute favorite weekend getaway spot. The staff is so friendly, it is so many amenities for families. Definitely recommend this place for family trips

Place is not clean. I didn’t get phone connection. Too dark at night. My brother had a condo next to me but I was scared to let the kids walk to him. Restaurants are too far and no delivery. They didn’t have a restaurant or a cafe even in the village. No water in the room for drinking. I had to collect my own garbage and wash my own dishes

The emails and text messages I received never once said I would have to pay an Additional 250$ once I arrived. The website says the property has all these “amenities” but you have to pay for the mini golf and the arcade. I drove my kids 3 hours and had nothing to do for them the whole weekend. None of the staff seemed like they were ever actually working. There were spiders all over every inch of our room. The remote was broken, no fire place, not enough hot water to use the jacuzzi, We left that place cleaner than what it was when we arrived! Won’t ever recommend and won’t return. Thank you for taking 400$ of my money and ruining my anniversary.

The villa was not clean at all. As soon as we walked in the door we were hit with a strong musty smell. The carpets were dirty spider webs were everywhwre. The second floor did not feel safe at all. The floors wre VERY squiky and it felt like we were going to fall through the floors just by simply walking. In all fairness we were told they are renovating but it did not seem safe. This was not our first time staying at Shawnee so I was left very disappointed. In the past Shawnee has exceeded our expectations.
