Superb stay by the seasidePosted Apr 2, 2015
Location: Sainsbury's nearby if you need anything and a gastro pub nearby too. Short walk to the beach.
Stayed at the Albert & Victoria recently on business. Loved the fact that I could book a specific room before arriving. Keith provided a great welcome and my chosen room (Helena) was a well appointed double, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a desk and chair where I could work plus tea, coffee and biscuits which was a bonus. Breakfast - white linen tablecloth, great selection of cereals and fruit and delicious home-cooked bacon and eggs. Would definitely return and recommend highly to anyone else visiting Eastbourne on business or pleasure!

what a surprise, we were expecting your usual run of the mill b&b but what we got was fantastic, the whole place was spotless and clean, our room the Leopold was very spacious and perfectly furnished with plenty of tea and coffee. Our host Keith was brilliant and very helpful. the breakfasts were excellently cooked and presented. We are already planning to return in the new year.

Very nice Bed and Breakfast and a warm welcomePosted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome and the Albert and Victoria is very well presented.
Cons: One downside is parking. This is on the road and there are a lot of cars about so space is limited. Nothing that the hotel could do about this though.
Location: Lots of pubs and places to get food within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel less than a minute walk from the sea. Retail park 10 mins drive away.
As a wedding anniversary gift a relation had bought us afternoon tea at another hotel in Eastbourne which was only about ten minutes walk from the Albert and Victoria hence our stay. The owner of the Albert and Victoria is a very friendly guy who was kind enough to make us a cup of tea on arrival and also told us about some of the local eateries and pubs which was very useful. The Albert and Victoria is clean throughout and very well presented with nice carpets and facilities. Our room had everything we wanted including tea, coffee and bottled water which was a nice touch. The breakfast was really good too with a selection of juices, fruits and yogurts right up to a delicious full English breakfast. The hotel is ideally situated and you are in walking distance from the pier and various pubs. The sea is only a minute walk away and we enjoyed having a stroll down the promenade despite the cold weather. Parking is on the road and although there are some parking meters they are actually quite reasonably priced compared to some seaside towns. We arrived around 2pm and just managed to get a car parking slot about five minutes walk away fro the Albert and Victoria. I have to say that I noticed that there was plenty of car space by the early evening. We certainly enjoyed our short stay and intend to go back in the future.

how it should be donePosted Nov 5, 2014
Location: whilst Eastbourse itself is OK it's the surrounding countryside (Beachy Head, Birling Gap, Seven Sisters Country Park) that makes the area.
everything from the breakfast to the toiletries is first class.

A night in EastbournePosted Nov 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Thankfully, through Hotels.com I discovered the Albert & Victoria, and had a great night in Eastbourne. This hotel/guest house is very close to the beach and 15 minute walk to the town center. Clean rooms with great amenities. A delicious breakfast is served in a light and airy dining room. Keith, the proprietor is warm and welcoming. This is worth the stay, if you are in the area.
