Friendly, quiet B&B well locatedPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Very short walk from centre, plenty of places to eat and drink. Also live music venues and great shops.
We had a lovely weekend here, made very welcome. The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfy. It's quiet, even though it's only about 10 mins walk from the centre of Brighton. The whole place was very clean, and stylishly decorated - a lot of thought has gone into the comfort of guests Eg providing bathrobes in room. The breakfasts were very good - meat and veggie. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely little BnBPosted Mar 20, 2015
Stayed for a weekend break in Brighton. The BnB is about a 20 - 30 minute walk from the city centre very quick by taxi. The main appeal location wise is the beach which is only about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were huge, cooked in front of you and extremely delicious. Room was clean, nicely decorated and light and airy. Overall a great Bnb and have already recommended it to family. The only draw back is the lack of a lift, if you have problem with stairs it might not be the best hotel for you.

B & B's don't get any better than this!Posted Feb 23, 2015
A delightful stay! The decor of the hotel is a piece of inspired and devoted creativity throughout. A great feeling of luxurious and romantic escapism at a very reasonable price with as good a breakfast as you could wish for...those fried mushrooms were the best I'd ever tasted! Very welcoming owners too. Would definitely return and try out another of the enticingly themed rooms.

Brilliant Hotel with friendly ownersPosted Nov 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is well located for the seafront and all the attractions in the centre of Brighton and is a 20-25 min walk from the rail station. The rooms are all individually styled, we stayed in a stylish, Moroccan themed room whilst our friends were in 2 "French" rooms. They were very well designed and fitted out, clean with good en-suites. Whilst seeming at first a little strange, our en-suite was an ingenious use of a bathroom similar to a "plastic moulded" bathroom that is normally found on a ferry - a good way of fitting an en-suite and associated plumbing into the bedroom of an historic house! The outside of the hotel was very tidy and had the best appearance of all the properties in the street. This attention to detail continued throughout the house and the breakfast room was tastefully adorned with Christmas decorations. Breakfast is prepared in the open kitchen and was fantastic. The hosts were both extremely helpful and very friendly.

fabulous boutique hotelPosted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I booked a 2 night stay at Marina House Hotel for our wedding anniversary on 14th Nov. We absolutely loved the hotel. Susie and Telly are fabulous hosts, the breakfasts are to die for and the rooms are warm and cosy. We were in Room 9 (slight Moulin Rouge theme). Once we tackled the stairs we were glad to be on the top floor. It was very quiet and peaceful. Kemptown is fabulous with lots of quirky pubs and restaurants. The location of the hotel is great and not far from The Brighton Wheel and pier. We have fallen in love with this lovely boutique hotel and will definitely book again.

Would certainly stay here again!Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Everthing. The owners were pleasant. The hotel is close enough to facilities
Cons: If I am being extremely picky it would have been nice to have a small chest of drawers in the room
Location: It was ideal for me. About a 10 minute walk to the Pier and shops/restaurants but far enough out so that there was no late night noise.
I stayed here for 2 nights whilst I was attending a training course. The room (No.3) was immaculately clean and it was great to have a small fridge. The bed was really comfortable and there was no noise. The Breakfast was AMAZING! It was presented beautifully, the quality was excellent and there was so much that I didn't need to have lunch. If I go to Brighton again I will definitely stay here!!!! It would appear that in the small B&B's in Brighton breakfast is not usually served until 9am. Fortunately the owners did serve breakfast at 8am for me (my training course started at 9am) so it may well be a good idea to check before booking if you need to have an early start!
