Brilliant hotelPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Staff on hand if you needed anything but leave you alone if you just want peace.
Cons: Signage at front of hotel as we drove right past it twice.
Location: Beach was wonderful, pier lovely to walk and then sit on deck chairs and watch the world go by, shops and plenty of eating places.
Although just staying two days, we could not have picked better hotel to stay in, both modern and clean, no noise to keep us awake, staff very nice and respectful, if I am ever in brighton again would definitely stay here.

Get there earlyf you need to park your car.Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Location and restaurant.
Cons: Car parking (but this is a Brighton problem generally).
Location: Just a short walk up from the pier. Handy for the bars in town and the lanes.
Lovely hotel, very nice room (the one with the bathroom down some stairs). But no city view. We ate in the restaurant too and the meal was superb.

Excellent position on the best part of seafrontPosted Jun 9, 2014
The staff were very helpful with parking requests etc.. Showing the room, explaining all I needed to know about the room and hotel! I did expect a better paint job around especially in the stairwell. Room was a bit small for the price but location is top, so I would have to compare tariff with other hotel in the same place. Overall a very pleasant experience, and top mark for the breakfast room, clean, very pleasant staff, fresh orange juice is really nice and the full English was of a great quality! Might come back, thanks!

Excellent small hotel, 10 minutes walk to the townPosted May 28, 2014
Lovely hotel, although the rear rooms have an unattractive view. The bath was in the bedroom, although very quaint and afforded every facility. Staff were excellent and it is good value for money.

PerfectPosted May 2, 2014
Room 301, fantastic seafront views, comfortable room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Perfect in every respect. If I'm in Brighton again I'll be staying at the Drake!

Brilliant service, most comfortable bed in the world and a great view of the pier and beachfront. Great for a special occasion.

nice boutique hotel with great servicePosted Jan 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Service very good. Room well designed but a little small. Great chef on restaurant but dining room a little cold. Bar was open 24hrs - a bonus.

Fantastic servicePosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nicest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. 20 rooms - felt like a five star hotel with a B&B cosiness. Staff were fantastic. Could not be more helpful. Felt like home but with room service!
