“Happy to return .”

An excellent location from which to explore Brighton, in a gracefully decorated seafront building typical of the town's best period. A comfortable and clean room - one without a seaview, but the seafront is right outside! The room was perhaps too small for a double-bed and hanging space for clothes rather limited, but these are small criticisms. Overall the room was welcoming and comfortable and the bathroom well-maintained. We found the management and staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts varied and satisfying. Recommended as good value all round.

“Very friendly...”

Not cheap but it was Easter and maybe cheaper deals are avaialble at other times. The price was the only real downside. Service was first class, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellant, location was great. The hotel had a real character that I liked. If staying at busy times Brighton has a parking problem but the car park close by is one of the cheapest in the town. I would stay here again, no question especially if prices were a little cheaper.
