“great hotel, very impressed”

This booking was for a hen party of 11 women in 5 rooms. We arrived on the Saturday at 12.30 and were surprised and pleased that all 5 rooms were ready as check-in was not supposed to be until 3. The rooms were clean and of a good standard. We had drinks in the lounge bar which were a bit on the expensive side but the atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were happy for you to sit in there without buying any drinks. The night porter let us in at 3am after we had been to a club with no problems. Breakfast was good but slightly expensive I thought. Standard check-out time of 12 is great plus we left our luggage with the concierge and used the facilities until 5 when our minibus picked us up. Very impressed

“Always 1st place to try!”

Fabulous hotel (2nd time I've stayed), great location right on the seafront but far enough away from the nightlfe for it to feel relaxing. The breakfast is to die for & on this occasion I tried the living well spa which was a real treat!

“Great location on the esplanade”

We booked a room in the Metropole when attending a concert in the Brighton Centre which turned out to be a few minutes walk away. The room was up to Hilton standard with the most comfortable mattress I have ever used. Breakfast was busy but well managed by the restaurant staff. The Lanes were dressed in Christmas lights and full of charm. There is a little pub just 2 minutes to the west of the Metropole which is cosy for a post concert visit. Remember to allow for the Hilton £16 per day parking charge. The location of the Metropole means that you can leave the car in the garage and walk everywhere in central Brighton and the front.

“Lovely hotel in a great location, Can' t wait to book again!”

From the start of our stay here we could'nt fault the customer service, There was an abundance of staff in the foyer to help with bags queries and checking in. We had booked a superior room and we wern't dissapointed with our seaview double room with balcony.Although not huge it was still a good size and comfortably furnished in a modern style but not too contemporary. The bar staff provided us with an ice bucket and glasses to chill our champagne as we were celebrating a special birthday. We had a great stay the hotel was very busy and this could have made it noisy but as we had a room at the end of a corridor the only noise which disturbed us was the seagulls but then we were by the sea!!! We had booked a table at Bar du Vin and this was a pleasant 10 mins stroll away the location meant no need for taxi's I had read some not so favourable reviews on this Hotel but I am glad I ignored them as I can't fault this hotel It was good value for money too. The Management should be very proud of the customer service provided by the staff, who were friendly and courteous at all times. Would definitly stay here again.

“Valentine night near disaster”

Superior suites highly recommended and the Breakfast was a feast in a fabulous setting overlooking the sea but don't book a cheap room! I would have thought it kinder to offer anyone who is unfortunate enough to need a room with disabled facilities, a better environment than the suicide suite we were initially put in

“Solo pamper break”

I went on a 3 day break as I wanted to recoup at a hotel with spa facilities and at the seaside. The break was great the staff were overal friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi was on a 6 minute timer which was good in a way so everyone gets a chance to use it but very small so only 4 people can use at a time. I would avoid going swimming on a Friday morning as there is a mother and baby class so you have to use the deep end. I had room service as a bit intimidating as a solo diner in the windsor restaurant and lounge bar as they were very busy in the evening. I had a great aromatic full massage and pedicure but a bit disappointed with the colour range as didn't have metallic colours. I believe single sex sauna were advertised but I didn't see these at the time so worth asking if you want this. The mixed grill was fab but the spagetti arrabiata was bland so don't go for this. Would definetly recommend.

“Would definitely stay again”

The hotel is lovely - staff were great - facilities excellent. However, the room was small and cost a great deal of money. But I must, on the side of fairness, state that it was Gay Pride weekend, all hotels were full and this was (I suspect) the very last room in Brighton! Next time, I'll book a little further ahead.

“Great location, great staff, amazing building but can be a bit pricey. Will go back!”

We stayed for 2 nights and weren't disappointed! Hotel is magnificant - don't use the lifts, walk on the amazing marble staircases! An old and amazing building, loved it! Our double room was a good size but fairly basic, which was fine. We benefitted from a flat screen TV. Furntiture pretty dated, as was bathroom but all worked fine. Gym & pool were excellent! Car parking steep - you pay for a 24hr period, but they did extend it free for us so we could spend the whole final day there. I would advise to prebook breakfast the day before, saved us £7pp. Breakfast itself was well worth the money! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is positioned opposite the old pier remains on the sea front and only 5 mins walk into town. Perfect location - away from noise/drunks of the clubs but an easy walk into town/beach/Lanes. We would def go back there but only at a similar discounted rate as we had this trip.

“I have always liked visting brighton, I must say, I had a great weekend away”

At first I was a little apprehensive about staying at the hotel, after reading through some reviews, I was hoping our weekend away would be an enjoyable one especially since we recently had a new born baby, and was looking forward to our 1st weekend away without the baby. I most say the Hotel was spectacular, the room , was lovley the service was excellent, the breakfast buffet, was great, very helpful staff, I must say Stephanie at front of house was very very welcoming. I must say we had a fantastic weekend, if you are thinking of booking I suggest you do book and not always take on other people’s experiences, as you may very well get a surprise, just like we did, great weekend away, will certainly book again, and will recommend the hotel to all parties interested.Oh yes the facilities was fantastic as well slightly disappointed I could not get my toe nails painted, but this need to be booked in advance, overhaul great relaxing weekend away I came away with a definite smile on my face.
