“Surrey Couple”

We read some reviews of this hotel prior to setting off for a long weekend in Brighton. Some had had better experiences than others. In our case, the room was great, overlooking a small garden, very quiet and enough space for the 2 of us (incl wardrobe space etc). We like the fact that there is a bit of walking involved to get in to Brighton or Hove, so the positioning of the hotel was perfect for our needs in that respect too. It's not in Hove by the way (like someone had put in their comments). We didn't use the hotel restaurant or the "Spa facilities", so can't comment on these. we are definitely going back at some point - we had a lovely time!

“Ideal for a few nights in Brighton”

This hotel is well appointed and the staff are excellent. The parking is a bit of a pain, so make sure you book the car park otherwise it is 'feed the meter on the seafront' time with pound coins! It is close enough to Brighton centre to walk, so it is fine if you are a tourist looking for a decent place to stay. Also very good value for a 4 star hotel!

“Great Weekend Escape”

Great place for a weekend escape ... hotel clean, close to nightlife & shops and situated on the sea front. Bedroom: Comfortable, compact and clean. The view from the bedroom was a bit grim - overlooked a fire exit & the backs of houses. Tea & Coffee making facilties provided Spa: Fantastic! thoroughly recomend the Back, Scalp & Face treatment. General Hotel: staff friendly & accomodating although service in the bar area was a little slow. Would definately go back again

“Little bit on the tired side”

The hotel was in a good location, close to the beach and a ten minute walk to the shops in the centre of Brighton. Whilst the facilities were good, the overall impression of the hotel was it was a little tired and needed a bit of work in the communal areas such as the staircase (stained carpets/chipped doors etc) The breakfast was excellent and overall the stay was good value for money.

“Lovely friendly hotel, would def stay again”

THe hotel was very nice and there staff were friendly. There was a leak in our bathroom and they arrange for us to be moved straight away into a nicer larger room which was a nice touch to the stay. The only think that i wasn't to happy with was that there was no meal or price list for anything in the room so we didn't know how much spa treatments were or how much Breakfast was so we were quite shocked when we went down and had breakfast only to find out afterwards that it was £30. Overall the stay was very nice and i would definatly stay there again.

Excellent, but being woken up at 4am on Saturday morning by drunken yobs singing was not good.
