“Highly recommended, esp for Families”
This hotel was a very pleasant surprise, Although on first appearance you would think just your average but nice place, i was most impressed with the extra effort that was made to make all the difference in a very competitive market. The added touches, like turning the beds down, leaving a chocolate on the pillow, the daily information sheet was a much appreciated bonus. I didn't even notice there wasn't a phone in my room as there was no need to contact reception as all the information I needed was in the booklet in my room, even though the staff and owners were always happy to help and provide any information. the added value included, playstations and dvd's to hire for free, free wifi, flat screen tv with dvd player in everyroom. The family suite was especially great, (not the usual double bed with a sofa all crammed into one room)I loved that the kids not only had their own adjoining room with twin beds, but tv and bathroom too, with their own front door on our secured shared landing, great for a peaceful nights sleep away from home. We were so comfortable we slept through breakfast, but were still welcomed to grab anything from the buffet that was available. The only disappointing thing was we wanted to stay another night but they were of course fully booked, but we will definately be back to Eastbourne, just to stay here again.
