Decent enoughPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The bohemian style, the relaxed atmosphere, the breakfast
Cons: Not sure carpets in bathrooms is a good idea! Rooms are small, but that can be forgiven.
The good points: nice little hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and quite bohemian decor. Good little bar that stays open to 11pm, breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely room. Not too far from beach or city centre. The bad points: Had a very small room (not sure how a double bed got in there), it was quite noisy at night (weekend) and why have carpets in the bathroom!! Quite expensive for the size of room, but otherwise good.

Nice Hotel with Friendly StaffPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The Staff Very Cosy Blueberry Pancakes for Breakfast
Cons: The whole hotel could do with a slight decoration lift or brightening just to tidy those edges.
Location: Being close to the beach front and the old pier you were in easy walking distance of nearly everything in brighton
Upon getting to the hotel after 3hrs of walking around as they don't open there doors till 3pm, we had too ring the bell a couple of times, but once inside we were greeted well, filled out a form and given the keys and shown to our room luckily we had Room 5 which was only 2nd floor, hall way and stairwell were small and warm, but once in the room it was well proportioned and the bathroom with shower en suite were excellent, a couple of things the bathroom lights didn't work there was no fan in the room and the shower dial was broken, but when we went downstairs and had a cocktail and mentioned these things the staff member Dan said while we were out he would sort the lights and bring up a fan for us which he did, and due to the problems we got a two for one deal on the cocktail now that's what I call customer service. It was noisy at night as we had a road right outside but only 3 min to the beach front and the fan to cover up the noise it wasn't too bad. The breakfast was excellent although my boyfriend had the cooked breakfast and we found it funny that they didn't have beans and black pudding as he is allergic to eggs he got on a massive plate bacon sausage mushrooms and half a tomato neatly spaced on the plate. I had the famous Blueberry Pancakes with bacon cream and syrup and I have to say these are definitely the highlight of the weekend so much so I couldn't eat it all. All in all I would say don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed.

Nice hotel. Near beachPosted Jun 8, 2014
Lovely stay with my partner. Room was small but thata what we had exspected. Room was very clean but the bath needed a bit of TLC. The staff were all very friendly and gave us some good sugestions of where to go in brighton. The bar was also lovely as well.

Great location fantastic breakfast choicePosted May 26, 2014
Unfortunately the only room left for our stay was an attic room in this beautiful period property and so the toilet was outside the room down the hall a little way, but it was still very nice.

Lovely little hotel in BrightonPosted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, decor, staff.
Cons: Room was dominated by HUGE bed, which is both a good and bad thing!
Location: Close to the beach and centre of town. Loads of shops, restaurants etc., and only a 15min walk to the pier.
Had a comfortable and relaxing night at the Neo, conveniently located close to the beach and centre of town. Staff were great, room was lovely, breakfast was brilliant.

Good and badPosted Jan 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in a great position and the character when you step inside is very welcoming. The manager gave us lots of information about the city and was very enthusiastic. I was expecting a small room from other reviews and wasn't disappointed, and it was really only suitable for a 1 or 2 night stay. However I found the beds comfortable. The main problem was no hot water in the shower, and very poor TV reception. This may have been down to the appalling weather conditions at New Year when we stayed. Breakfast was pretty good, but I'm glad we weren't in a hurry!

smalest room in the worldPosted Nov 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
we stayed mid week for one night, had to clamber up very tight stairs to the top floor to find an attic room that was tiny, no room to hang clothes or move around in room. Also no mention in advance that parking would cost us (over twenty quid). We arrived at midday to find hotel locked and no one around called them and where let in by a cleaner who knew nothing about parking, returned at 4 and the very nice person who admitted us also did not know the parking situation. And then the next morning - a jolly nice breakfast - but we were the only ones staying in the hotel, surely it would have been sensible to upgrade us.
