Quiet and very near the beach.Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Different to most beige hotels. Personal touch. Perfect breakfast.
Location: Hotel is near enough to all sights of Brighton but just tucked away enough not to be hindered by any traffic, night clubs etc.
Lovely overnight stay at the Oriental. Clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Hotel staff looked after my wife and I and made us both feel very welcome. Would return if staying in Brighton again. Thank you.

A belated birthday treat with friend. Cosy, clean and well equipped room. Staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Good breakfast with options for those with dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend.

Close to beach but away from Main Street which gives me quiet and comfortable sleep. Bathroom is perfect.

The perfect hotel for a weekend breakPosted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: Everything about this place was great. The staff, the comfort of the room, the location and the breakfast.
Location: Everything worth seeing in Brighton is close by and either a walk or a short taxi away.
Me and my girlfriend had a lovely weekend in Brighton staying at The Oriental. The staff went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one and we will no doubt be staying here again in the future.

Exceptional service and a good locationPosted Jan 20, 2014
Intimate hotel / guest house who make a difference by really looking after their guests. From tea and cake on arrival, nothing is too much for this team. Rooms are small but clean, modern and well planned. It is a multi storey house so be prepared for stairs and a little noise, but nothing intrusive. We stay in high end hotels generally so this was quite a change for us and I'm glad we did! Lots of character and quirks (fun little bar / breakfast room) and personal attention that you'll never get in the chains. We would definitely stay again.

Charming little place next to the beachPosted Dec 22, 2013
Pros: Staff were really friendly and eager to please, the hotel had a charm about it, room was lovely, very well equipped, light, and cosy.
Cons: The lack of a fridge in the room was a shame.
Location: The staff had some very helpful suggestions for where to eat nearby: Billie's Cafe, The Lion and Lobster, Pub du Vin, etc.

Nice Boutique Hotel In BrightonPosted Dec 10, 2013
The location excellent. It is on a quiet residential street yet only a few minutes walk from the lanes/pier. The hotel is also excellent. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the suite which clean, modern and well presented. The little touches were really appreciated (chocolates, decent shampoo/creams, bottled water, his and her sinks, breakfast in bed). I can't speak more highly of the staff - very friendly and professional. Throughout our stay they were happy to do as much or as little as we wanted. They were always there to make sure we were comfortable, offer suggestions for our visit or even make a cup of tea. P.S I forgot to mention, but the breakfast was excellent.

Comfy beds, gorgeous breakfasts, cozy warm roomPosted Nov 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff were lovely and looked after us very well. We were warm and cozy in our room and the room was decorated really nicely. Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. We were given an upgrade due to availability which was such a lovely treat and really appreciated as I was not feeling very well. I would recommend and stay again. It is more of a guest house than hotel, more of a family/personal feel. Could not fault it, had a great time.
