The staff were fantastic. Maureen in particular help organise a day tour which was incredible. The location of the hotel is less than 5 mins drive to the airport & town centre. Very good value!

Good for holidays, very friendly staff who will make sure you have a pleasant stay. It is located a few minutes from the village, good location for tours around the island. Good value for money.

Well-maintained property and rooms
We had a very comfortable stay at Cabanas Rapa Nui Orito. The rooms and the grounds are very well maintained. The airport pick-up and drop-off were as promised. From a location standpoint, it is about 35-40 minutes walk to the town center. We ended up doing a mix of walks or cabs for 3000 CLP. The breakfast was ok and we supplemented it with instant oatmeal which we had brought with us. Overall, pleased with our stay.

Nice room, awesome staff, great experience.
We were lay'd upon flight arrival, driven to the Cabañas, and giving plenty of island recommendations from both Jose and Hugo. Breakfast is brought to your room in the morning (you choose the time), room is cleaned daily, with fresh towels supplied. After a long day of biking 30 miles around the island, Hugo offered to drive us to pick up our Sushi order - that kindness really made our day.

The hotel is a bit out of town. It would take between 30-45 minutes to walk or it is a short taxi ride that costs 3,000 pesos. If you book tours, they can pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. It is a great place to stay if you rent transportation and you can also prepare food in the room.

Wonderful, peaceful and accommodating!
Excellent staff on so many fronts. Arranged for car rental, recommended a great waterfront restaurant and accommodated our schedule for earlier breakfast. From the rooster waking us up in the AM to a visit by some 5 or 6 wild horses coming into the front yard one morning. Truly a blessed island with a history that is beyond words in trying to describe. We lost the card with the names of the young man and woman who went above and beyond our expectations. We thank you for making our dream experience one we will never forget!!! Don and Rejane

Great service and price.
We enjoyed our hotel very much. They greeted us at the airport with leis and took us and all our suitcases to the hotel. We rented a car from them, and they also returned us to the airport. They have sodas and water to purchase, and helped us to make a reservation for a dinner show. Both people we worked with spoke great language and were happy to speak with us. Hugo even came one morning after he had delivered our breakfast to let us know there was a double rainbow to come look at! They went above and beyond and we enjoyed our 3 day visit!

Nice hotel in a quiet place
If you wish a clean and quiet place to stay, this is it. It is located a little outside of Hanga Roa, which makes it tsunami safe and very quiet at night. You can rent a car directly at the hotel, to very reasonnable prices, and therefore, avoid any traffic congestion where ever you are going. A continental breakfast is brought to your room by very nice staff, and if you go for a sunrise they even hold it for you.

This hotel is a little outside of the city center, which we liked, because it is most likely more quiet than in town. The airport is very close, but because it doesn't have a busy schedule, there is no noise from it than we could hear. Good facilities for cooking your own meals, very friendly and helpful staff, nice garden. Overall very happy, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Minimal, with drawbacks.
No AC, slippery tile floors, WIFI largely unusable (although at a different hotel it was fine), more remote than expected, long periods of time office unattended and phone not answered, three days with no email response (but followed by apology), friendly manager. Would not stay again.

Would stay there again and would recommend.
We were met at the airport by a staff person who welcomed us to Easter Island. Car rental was available on sight. Room was clean and in good repair. Continental breakfast was included. May not have been a top tier resort, but for a nice place to stay while exploring the island it cannot be beat. Very reasonably priced.

Eastern Island Get Away
They offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. I was picked up by Victor who always had a smile and gave me a quick tour of the town before dropping me off at the hotel. The hotel is a little ways away from the main town. You can pay a taxi $3,000 Chileans to drive you to the town center. The breakfast consisted of ham, cheese, bread, fresh juice, milk, tea or coffee, and a dessert. They bring the breakfast to your room. The Wifi is spotty and it comes and goes. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a nice front lawn with 2 soccer goals and 2 hammocks. Very nice and peaceful setting. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax and if you have a family.

Great place to stay, away from the town
The hotel was lovely situated in a well maintained property away from the main town. We stayed in the double room which was really big for two people. The room was equipped with kitchen (working sink, gas stove top, pots, pans, appliances, and silverwares). Breakfast was delivered on time every morning (coffee, tea, juice, fresh bread, ham, cheese, biscuit, butter,and jam) You heat up water and make your own coffee from the instance coffee brought with breakfast. Free wifi at the lobby, and we get a week wifi signal from outside of our room (#5). Staff (Tiare and Marcela) were very friendly and helpful with all the question we had. Tiare picked us up and took us back from the airport for free. We even had leis to welcome us when we landed at the airport. It's about 20 minutes walk to town from the hotel or you can a take a taxi to town for 3,000 pesos each way. You can rent a car at the hotel, but it's cheaper to rent it in town.

Great place to stay on the island
We really enjoyed this place to stay. They were there to pick us up from the airport with beautiful leis and dropped us off at the end of our trip with a cool native style necklace. We could arrange a specific time that they would bring our breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was delicious: really fresh fruit, bread, ham, and cheese, plus some REALLY delicious milk (we were actually surprised how good it was). It was also nice to have our own kitchenette with fridge, stove, sink, and utensils so we could prepare our own food if we wanted. The staff was always really friendly. There is no internet in the room so if you are looking to access wifi you'll need to hang out in the lobby. A perk of it being located where it is, is that if you are at ALL concerned about tsunamis, Cabanas Orito is located a little outside of town and up a hill, so you would be perfectly safe there while a lot of the other hostels appeared to be in the tsunami zone.

Great Place to Stay.
For a short visit on Easter Island, I first found this place by looking at the least expensive option. I'm glad I stayed here. I had a single room, which was large, inviting, with plenty of windows. The bed was comfortable, the shower good, the breakfast tasted good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There's just nothing that was not to like. It's on the outskirts of town, but I think you need your own means of transportation on the island anyway, either a rental car or bike. And with that, it's just a few minutes into town. Being as remote as it is, I don't think I'll come to visit Easter Island again. But if I did, I would definitely stay here again.

The host Maria is super-friendly, Pick-up and drop-off from the airport are included free of charge. Breakfast was served each morning perfectly on time and in my room. Hotel is a little far from town, but they will arrange a shuttle to town so you can rent a bike or car. Perfect stay!

The hotel don/t have air conditioning so may have problems sleeping ay night because the heat. They give breakfast but you have to do it because they don't have a kitchen.they provide the bread and coffe but tou needed to heat the water in the stove

Nice hotel on outskirts of town
We liked the hotel. It was very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. They spoke only a little English so it was a good thing part of our group was fluent in Spanish. They had an Internet connection that was quite slow but accessible from the lobby and porch areas. The continental breakfast was fine. It was a few kilometers from the center of town but we decided the best way to get around the island was with a rental car anyway. Loved Easter Island, and this seemed to be as nice a hotel as any others there.

Staff are so friendly. We were met at the airport and received a flower garland as a welcome. I had a big birthday during our stay. I received a bunch of flowers with our breakfast, which was brought to our room at 8.30 am every morning and then received a bottle of wine presented in a woven basket with more beautiful flowers in the evening after our sightseeing tours! A wonderful birthday to remember. Easter Island is an amazing place with lots to see and do. The people are friendly, and the history is fascinating. I took soooo many photo's! Everything has to be imported to the island, so bring money!

Thoughtful touches everywhere
We had an amazing time on Easter Island and Cabañas Rapa Nui Orito contributed to that greatly. The pre-arrival email with information about the free shuttle was very thoughtful. The amenities in the room (a full kitchen) were helpful and the morning continental breakfast is delivered to your room with generous portions. The rooms are spotless. We were even able to rent a car onsite, which enabled us to enjoy our visit even more. Would recommend and stay there again.

Wonderful Cabins
It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed our experience at Easter Island so much and this place helped a lot. The breakfast was excellent and they ask you what time you want it delivered to your room which is awesome! You get a selection of cheese, ham, bread, juice, coffee, chocolate milk, cookies, jam and fruit. Very filling and we even took the cookies as a snack for later on in the day. The place itself is very beautiful. It is located outside the town (around 35 min walking and a very short drive) at the beginning we were not sure about this, but it was not a problem at all. We rented a car because we wanted to explore the island on our times so the distance was never an issue. The staff is great. They pick you up at the airport and take you on a small tour in the town so you can get familiar with it and get the hotel located. The only reason why I didn't give a 5 stars rating was that the walls are quite thin. Our neighbors, on one side ,were a quiet couple however we could hear their conversations and they were not even loud. We could even hear them when they were talking very quietly. On the other side of the room the couple staying there were coming back late at night and start cooking (around 11 pm) and we could hear all the pots and pans, tv and their conversation as well.

Nice Hotel for the Price and Location
Overall great place to stay. Its a little bit out of town so its quite at night, completely recommend renting a small jeep from them the best way to get around and see the sites (on your own schedule). We missed our flight to Rapa Nui due to a previous flight, and we ended up coming on the next flight 12 hours later. To our surprise they were their to meet us at the airport, even though we weren't able to reach them to let them know! Hotel itself was generally clean, and at the level you would expect for being so far away from the main land. The main person at the desk during the day was terrrific and extremely helpful and knowledgable. They rest of them were okay. Overall we would definitely consider coming back and staying at this hotel.

Great quiet place to stay on the island
We had a lovely stay. They were very accomadating picked us up at the airport and arranged for us to have a car rental. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast that was delivered to the room every morning with a smile. We had the lovely company of the cat & dog every morning which was nice. The place is a few minutes out of town but we didn't find this a problem. We would recommend this place as a lovely place to visit the island from.

My family had a wonderful, comfortable stay at the Cabanas Rapa Nui Orito. From the airport welcome to the departure drop off, everyone at the cabanas was first class friendly. Good people offering great service. Our room was clean and spacious. Perfect for my family of four.

Great experience.
The staff was super friendly and helpful with our stay. Picked us up at the airport with beautiful flower leis. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Myself and my family loved the pet dog and cat. From the main road a person has doubts about the place. But once you drive in the grounds had amazing plants and flowers and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

I would go again!
It was a great hotel. Clean and a fantastic service. Close to the center but no walking, you need to take a taxi to anywhere you go from the hotel but rest nice, clean and familiar!

THIS IS NOT A 5.4.3. STAR HOTEL ITS BETTER, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A STAY ON A BEAUTIFUL ISLAND, AND YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLAND THIS IS THE PLACE. NOT LOT OF ROOMS BUT THE ROOMS ARE NICELY KEEPED AND THE HOSPITAILTY IS GREAT, YOU NEED SOMETHING THEY WILL HELP YOU FIND IT, I PLAN ON RETURNING ONE DAY AND IF THIS PLACE IS STILL THERE I WILL BOOK IT AGAIN. JUST BE AWARE THE PLACE SIT ABOUT 2KMS OUT OF TOWN, BUT ITS A LOVELY WALK OR $3 IN A TAXI THE CHOICE IS YOURS....... Hotel Rapa Nui Orita
The room was bright, colorful, and roomy with wifi. Excellent friendly staff that arranged car rental and obtained menus and our reservations for Christmas dinner. Hotel is just outside of town in a rural area. We preferred not being downtown. Not ultra fancy but resonable and we had a great stay and would recommend.

Hotel Cómodo y muy buena atención
La Isla en si es un lugar mágico, sus paisajes, el mar y la mística del lugar son impagables, vale la pena conocerla y ver que en chile también tenemos hermosos lugares para visitar y recorrer en familia, muy bien conservados y cuidados, lo que no ocurre en otras ciudades del pais.
