“Good hotel”

everything was good the breafast was very good for a continental breakfast and the beds were very confortable.

“Hidden gem”

We stayed at the comfort suites chestertown because my wife participated in a triathlon and we didn't want to drive up before the crack of dawn to check-in, setup, etc. the hotel was conveniently located 10 minutes from the start/transition area and very close to restaurants and stores, I had to stop and buy aleve that night for a pounding headache, rite-aid was literally right down the street. The room was large and clean with a comfortable sitting area as well as the two queen sized beds. My two boys played in the indoor heated pool for an hour before we went out for dinner. The pool itself was nice however, the area around the pool could've used a little love, I counted at least four bulbs that needed to be changed out. The reception desk was very accommodating with us for arranging a late checkout. The free breakfast was a good deal for starting at 6:30 in the morning, hot sausages, eggs, made to order waffles, as well as your standard breads, pastries, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, etc. overall, I great hotel and we plan to book again for next year's triathlon.

“Good value”

Traveled to Chestertown for the annual de-rigging of the "Sultana". Enjoyed an excellent performance of "Them Eastport Oyster Boys", at the Chester theater. Excellent food at the Imperial Hotel.

“very comfotable”

good i appreciate that to keep costs down,minimum labour used,however this required use of disposable plates,cutlery etc,including juices,not very eco friendly

“March visit to Chestertown, MD”

Not good. I have stayed here numerous times in the past and the facility is run down and it doesn't appear to have any program for correcting problem areas.

“I felt tricked”

This hotel has a no smoking policy. A contract is given to me when I signed in. Over $300.00 was billed to my credit card. when I called about the charges. I was told my room was so full of smoke they had to take it off the market( I have cancer my family can not smoke around me). After letters, e-mails and phone calls all money was put back on my account.
