I loved the 5 Gables. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about local restaurants.~There are free bikes to use to ride around St. Michaels ( a pleasure to do) ~ Complimentary water, cofee & tea s available throughout the day.

Five Gables was a great place to stay for our quick one year anniversary get-away to St. Michaels. The staff was really nice & helpful, the room was beautiful and had an awesome balcony, and the pool/sauna/steamroom was a great amenity.

We had a quiet retreat enjoying the water and the calm atmosphere- the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable- no complaints. The local restaurant food was good too!

“The BEST Honeymoon on the East Coast!”

Our experience was the best! It truly Was a greater experience than some of the hotels we have ever stayed. The services was excellent, the food was great, and the overall atmosphere was the epitome of romance and warmth. We will DEFINITLY be back!

“Innovative decor”

Suite was comfortable, spacious and with interesting decor. Only downside was modest breakfast fare, for the area it was excellent value.

“Five stars for Five Gables”

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a large jetted tub and was roomy. The shower had lots of shower heads including body jets but was very small. It was one of those corner showers that was cramped. Other than that the Inn was quaint, quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. We were right near all the shops without being in the center of business which suited us fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
