Great clean hotel, friendly front desk, nice breakfast

Pleasant staff, clean cool room (especially since it was over 100 outside), fast check-in and very nice breakfast service.

If your ever in the Kent Island area, this is the place to stay. Staff is very friendly, room very clean. Loved it! Red Eye Dock bar right around the corner which is a plus. Would highly recommend staying here and I will visit again.

“Perfect Hideaway”

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn (Kent Island) and had a wonderful time. We arrived late, but were greeted with smiling faces and fresh popcorn. (Perfectly popped!) The free breakfast was more than enough - eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit. Though it was a bit of a drive to downtown Annapolis, we enjoyed the quiet of Kent Island - especially the close proximity of the water to the hotel.

“Relaxation Paradise”

Have been to this hotel 4 times now for a girl's weekend. Wonderful beds, hot breakfast. We go in the off season, the bay is serene and quiet. Nearby restaurants have great food, great atmosphere. I plan to return in the spring!

Hotel room had some maintenance issues - no hook in bathroom, small things but exemplary of a hotel that is showing some wear. In contrast to the Holiday Inn Express in Easton, this was not nearly as nice.

“Great view from rooms at the back of the hotel”

Having read reviews of this hotel when we arrived we asked for a room at the back of the hotel (odd number rooms) and were not disappointed, good room with possibly one of the best views you could get from the usual Holiday Inn Express. Close (ie walking distance) to good places to eat crab and handy for Annapolis.

“The hotel is in need of a facelift, but it was clean, convenient and the views were spectacular!”

Because of the excellent reviews I was really expecting a glorious hotel; but it was just ok. There is a definite need for updating to the lobby, guest rooms and general public areas...oh, and the one creaky elevator; yikes! However, that being said, it was very clean overall, the bed was comfy, the staff was nice and helpful, the location very conveneint and the views were wonderful. I would stay there again, but I hope they give it a well deserved facelift!
