“July Fourth weekend on Maryland's Eastern Shore”
From the moment of our arrival Friday morning July 1, hotel manager Dave made us feel right at home. Dave went out of his way to sit down with us several times, mapping out key points of interest tailored to our own tastes, and then gave us the brochures and maps we needed for a stress-free weekend. He made excellent recommendations regarding activities, places to eat, and things to see.
The hotel is neat and tiny, conveniently located to all the surrounding towns and attractions. The pool and hot tub were a real plus after a day of sightseeing. The free breakfast was excellent by anyone's standards--with selections varying from gravy and biscuits to sausage, eggs, bacon, and even cheese omelets as well as yogurts, fruits, and cold and hot cereals and pancakes.
Every staff member was courteous and helpful. The hotel was quiet and pleasant. Fresh apples and ice water by the door was a nice touch. We got home yesterday and already have family members planning to stay here in the near future, and we also hope to return soon. Great place!
