Fantastic resort for the whole family!

Posted Jul 7, 2014
This place was fantastic. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about it. The staff was excellent, very inviting and helpful. The room was big and clean. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. I loved the fact that they have 2 pools, one for families and the other more for adults to lounge in. The indoor pool is beautiful and air conditioned. The resort had plenty of activities for the kids, and yet it was very relaxing and entertaining for my husband and I as well. The beach, although small, is still relaxing. My family went to 4 different places during our vacation, and although we had a fantastic time throughout, we can't stop thinking about this place. We will definitely be going back, and we are going to bring more friends/family next time! You won't be disappointed if you stay at this resort.

Weekend in a weekday

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Liked the resort a lot! The location is amazing and the hotel has complete amenities for all types of sports and leisure activities. Not many options for dining on a weekday, especially with a little one. The food is good, though, with healthy options

Great family weekend away

Posted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great for kids with lots of activities on offer throughout the day and movies in the evening. There is a "quieter" pool area if you don't have children or want to get away from the noise. Pool bar was excellent. The beach area is very small and we didn't use it as the water looked dirty and there were jellyfish warnings. We requested a room with a balcony rather than a small patio so we could actually sit outside and enjoy our water view. The hotel is a few miles from Cambridge so you have to drive to leave the hotel. We ate out one evening in Cambridge (at the gastropub High Spot) and ate in one evening at the Hyatt Blue Point. The food at the High Spot was better and cheaper. Lunch at the Hyatt poolside was convenient and easy with kids. We did a day trip over to St Michaels which was great and only half an hour away. Overall a great stay and I would return.

Great Resort!

Posted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Although we stayed for only one night, we had a great time. The place was clean- not only the rooms, but the hotel grounds also. The layout of the resort was beautiful. We had taken more pictures of the resort than of us! There were many activities to do on the property, as well as for the kids. Old town Cambridge is just a short drive away- if you're looking for other local attractions. Since it's pet-friendly, we would definitely consider staying there again, and bringing our dog next time!

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Apr 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is really beautiful. When you walk into the lobby, the view straight through to the water is breathtaking. We only stayed overnight, so we really didn't get to take advantage of most of the amenities, but I'd love to go back for a longer stay.

Nice, relaxing place for families

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Great facilities. Indoor AND outdoor pool with hot tub. Mini golf and enough shops and stuff.
Cons: I don't know if it can be improved, but I was disappointed that the balcony was just a metal grate.
Location: The town of cambridge is a short drive and the food there is better than the hotel. However, it's kind of a dull town but has it's charm.
The service and staff were extremely helpful and nice. There were a number of bars and restaurants open to a decent hour. I especially liked how I could get a drink at midnight and chill with my laptop once the family has gone to bed. We went during spring break and there was a movie playing at the pool, which was perfect for the kids. The weather was great when we went. The room itself was nice but not great. TV on demand costs money, which was annoying. Room service was overpriced. However, overall very good and clean. The one gripe, though weird, is that the bathroom uses a fan-less "natural" ventilation. That means if someone stinks it up it stays like that for a good couple hours. Weird.
