Zu viel LärmPosted Apr 2, 2012 on Hotels.com

Extremely friendly and helpful staffPosted Aug 30, 2011 on Hotels.com
We arrived at Villa Plauzi late at night – shortly before midnight and several hours later than scheduled. Travelling from Rome to Abruzzo (family with 2 children) we had planned a one night stay-over in Tivoli to see the archaeological site of Villa Adriana. Unfortunately we had lost our luggage on the trip and thus didn’t have anything with us, but the staff helped us in any way they could. They opened the kitchen so we could get a late dinner, they called around and managed to get us some diapers for our youngest child – overall they made us feel welcome and taken care of which was just what we needed to get our spirits up. The hotel is situated just off the main road in the suburb of Villa Adriana, across the street from what looks like an industrial site, but don’t let that fool you. The villa itself is a charming place with old stairways, split-level floors and quirky corridors decorated with old furniture. It even has a small walled garden. The rooms are clean and simple but have everything you need. Breakfast is mainly Italian style with sweet cakes but will do fine to start your day. We had a bit of a challenge finding the place because it was pitch dark and our GPS was out of order – but with a GPS you should be all right. Villa Plauzi is a terrific base for exploring the sites of Tivoli and surroundings.

Hotel Villa Plauzi TivoliPosted Aug 15, 2011 on Hotels.com
Friendly hotel staff, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working, our bedroom was 30 degrees We reported this but it still would not work. There was a 'pub' every night with thumping music until 3am. In a very industrial part of lower Tivoli quite near to Villa Adriana but 7 miles from Tivoli centre. The card machine was not working when we came to pay and we had to go and find a bank for cash, bank did not accept our cards ,luckily a post office near by had a machine which did
