An Assateaque experience worth repeating!

Location: Garden setting overlooking Assateague Island and historic lighthouse.
It exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, clean room, all amenities, wonderful breakfast with great variety of hot and cold items. Quiet, great comfortable bed. Setting was beautiful and fresh air. Price was extraordinary.

Location: Perfect location for visiting Assateague
The room was very spacious and spotless. The people at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was hot and fresh and very good. The staff really cares about this property and it shows. Absolutely immaculate and first rate.

Location: Absolutely the most convenient to visit the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge.
The room was far more than expected. It was spotless and modern. The location couldn't have been more convenient to the wildlife refuge. Even the breakfast was top notch. I'd definitely stay there again.

Pros: outdoor pool
Cons: small bathroom
Location: good location
no counter space in bathroom and tight space. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was ok if they replenished quicker, two mornings they were out of bagels, and waffles when we wanted to eat which was around 9:00am.

Pros: The bed was most comfortable.
Location: Couldn't have been more convienent to the park. Great location!
Had a very pleasant stay. Was happy that the room had an iron. Toilets could use more flush power.

Pros: clean and neat, new tile, comfy bed and pillows, patio with private chairs, overlooking pool.
Cons: breakfast area is way too small, no big deal, yet navigating the area is a trick.
Location: On the beach is not available in Chincoteague, BW location is as good as it gets on this Island.
We loved our stay at Best Western. Last business before crossing bridge to the nature preserve/beach. Outstandingly friendly staff. Very comfortable room. Wish we could have stayed longer. Due to late booking, also had a room at Comfort Suites on other side of town. Nothing wrong with that hotel, yet no comparison to the great feel at Best Western. Families will love it, couples with bikes will love it. We are very grateful to the staff at this hotel for creating such a nice stay. I like that we could drive up to our room and park, made it very convenient and comfy. Wonderful hotel and staff and location.

Cons: We could smell cigarette smoke from the balcony of our non-smoking room.
Location: Great - super convenient to Assateague, especially on bikes.
The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. The housekeeping staff was very good, and met all our special requests. We liked that we could rent bicycles and have the fee added to our hotel bill. My kids liked the breakfast buffet and I liked the all-day free coffee and lemonade. We all enjoyed eating on the front porch in the shade watching the 'pet' turtles. We didn't use the pool, but can recommend the fitness center.

This was a very nice, convenient hotel to Assateague.I loved the fact that it felt a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the main area of Chicoteague but close enough to bike and drive around. If you are a runner, this is the place for you!!!
