Nice hotel close to the beach .Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: The close convience to the Beach , and the eaterys !!!
Cons: The Fan in the bathroom , only because it was very loud.
Location: Chincoteague, Va. was the location. The day after I arrived, they had a Chili / Chowder cookoff on the Fairgrounds.
My stay at Days Inn was for 4 nights / 5 days. I wanted to get a room with a Queen bed, but the only availability was for a room with 2 Double beds. Well, as it turned out I was VERY pleased with my accomodations. I used one bed for my duffle bag and PC . The beds were SO COMFORTABLE , and the AC worked great !!! Almost to great to the point of me having to turn it up cause I was freezing... lol The breakfast was wonderfull, and the coffee was delicious !! The weather during my stay was a comfortable 72 - 75 degrees, and the evenings were cool. I wanted to extend my stay an additional 2 nites , due to the fact I was on vacation for the entire week. I DO intend on going back there again. The staff was very helpfull . The beach was just up the road from the hotel. Very convienant !!! Thank you for your Hospitality ;-)

Pros: Clean & conveniently located.
Cons: As above
Location: Park & beach
Clean & conveniently located. Did not receive internet password in writing, could not connect & thought the system was down. Discovered when talking to another guest in the morning that the clerk had verbally given me the wrong password. They should attach the password in writing, to the envelope containing the room keys. It was very inconvenient to be unable to check email due to clerk's error.

Pros: It's closeness to get to Chincoteague National Park.
Location: It is a short walk or drive to get to the park and the town is a quaint little area.
Everything was clean, quiet and very convienent to get to the park & see the ponies. Staff were friendly, helpful and the Inn provided free breakfast to start the day.

My third stay at this hotel...Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff, nice room, bathroom was very clean and free breakfast.
Location: Days Inn is 3-4 blocks or so down the road from the National Park entrance and beaches. It's close to a Dollar store and places to eat lunch/dinner.
I arrived three hours later for check-in and it was no problem. The room and bathroom were very clean. When I had a small problem with working the TV remote, staff offered to come in right away, even though it was quite late. Turns out the problem was me not knowing to press numbers instead of the up/down buttons. They fixed my problem and asked each morning (stayed 3 days) if everything was OK. It was. They have a free continental breakfast with sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, biscuits, cereal, oatmeal, raisin toast and yogurt. Coffee is available all day. They also have a public computer in the lobby and a pool. Day's Inn is cheaper than the hotel 2 doors up....so much so that I could have stayed one extra night for what I saved. This continues to be my place of choice.

Staff incredible, especially the new lady from Tennesee. Felt like I was at home. Close to the beach. Breakfast nice. Yes folks they have waffles! Two ponies on site for kids of any age. Highly recommend.

You get what you pay for...Posted Sep 5, 2014
Poor ventilation, room smelled moldy, had to leave room door open for some fresh air... Breakfast sucked WiFi sucked Don't expect any window views Very disappointed, we usually stay at the comfort suites and it's not a big deal, but much better than the day's inn.
