Great location by the lake and the wharf.Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, the facilities and the breakfast.
Cons: Information written in English.
Location: Lots of walks in summer.
My visit was inspired by the Chalet School books. I was able to walk to Gaisalm, take the cable car to Karwendel and swim in the hotel pool. A great place to stay but would have liked more information in English. There was virtually none. I hope to return

A lovely getawayPosted Feb 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and I found the hotel and area to be perfect for a short (4 day) relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet offered a very wide selection - evening meals were a tad pricey, where the price on the menu differed to that that we paid! The spa is extremely good (beware, nude unisex saunas, which was unexpected!). The surrounding area of Pertisau seemed child friendly, and it judging by the ski schools and clientele, it would be a great place to learn how to ski. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Hotel and in Pertisau, enough that we'd not think twice about going in summer if the opportunity arose.

A real gem, if you aren't hungryPosted Jun 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed in... staff were incredible everyone was very polite, helpful, and more everyone I spoke English (a plus for me). Super location and the hotel facilities were top class, with one exception - dinner was not up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel... for some reason suddenly the staff were confused, the options limited and service almost funny ("have you some wine?"... "Yes" is not the answer I expect)....

One of the most Beautiful places in the world. The staff are friendly. As an American I found it strange that the German and Austrian tourists at the hotel would never smile. I was happy to be there and smiled because of the beauty of the place. My new fav.

Excellent ski and spa holidayPosted Jan 31, 2013
Pros: Excellent breakfast, huge spa.
Cons: Parking charges
Location: Lovely village on the banks of a picturesque lake. 10 minutes form the ski slopes, which were great for beginners.
Excellent hotel in a wonderful setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was areal highlight, with a huge selection and excellent pastries. My only quibbles were that the shampoo was not replaced throughout our 7 day stay, which meant that we used the shower gel to wash our hair. We were also not informed about the 9 euro per day parking fee until we received the final bill. Otherwise a very memorable trip, and highly recommended.

One of the best hotels and locationPosted Sep 16, 2011
Whether it is the location, the quality of the hotel, the welcome and service from the staff, this hotel is definitely a winner by far. You have it all location-wise: the lake, the mountains and peace. We arrived there to be only surprised by the welcome and that too with a 3 year old and my in-laws, The clientele at the hotel is also very well behaved and child friendly. The staff were always going out of their way to ensure that you will have a fabulous stay - the simple common odd mistakes or confusion that happened were simply forgotten by how the staff were caring. Food is of excellent quality and not to forget fresh and plentiful that included 6 courses dinners. Spa, pool, sauna etc of high standard. Overall, a place that deserves to be stayed in over and over again.
