Small but close to city center and old town.Posted Jul 23, 2015
Had a pleasant experience but the rooms were a bit small. But was overall a great deal for the price. Easily accessible to city center and old town by bus.

Location: The Criaghmiller Castle jus across the road is nice to visit. You could also just take a walk in the park around the Castle.
Good valmue for money. Nice breakfast. Easy to take the bus to or from Edinburgh City centre to the hotel.

Nice hotel and comfortablePosted Jun 29, 2015
Nice comfortable hotel, but only downside was that it said on booking that full breakfast was included, but when got to this hotel the owner said full breakfast wasn't included, so was disappointed with this.

Basic guest housePosted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: Friendly owner and staff. Good (continental) breakfast.
Cons: Lower prices at this standard.
Location: Good for South Edinburgh. Bus stop very near. Craigmillar Castle and park opposite. Edinburgh Royal Infirmary near. Canonmills shopping a short drive.
This is a basic guest house but the price is not cheap. Room was a family room with 3 beds (one double) so crowded for a couple. The shower and toilet was 'en cupboard' rather than 'en suite'. Headroom limited at one end. A good location for south Edinburgh.

Good B&BPosted Oct 24, 2014 on Hotels
I stayed a few nights in this hotel it was a quaint bed and breakfast. Owner is very nice however they are not around that often. Breakfast was very good, but only available from 8-9am. The other strange thing is that there is very little light in the hall going to the room so it is fairly hard to see how to unlock the door at night. Somewhat small rooms, and the bathroom has the stupid two faucets for hot and cold.
